SXK Billet Box Style 70W Mod

Have been wanting one of these for a while - I just would not pay the asking price for an original - even this is more than I would usually spend on a mod.  When the this version came out, with all the optional decks,  I gor more and more tempted, and it was on offer, so I finally pulled the trigger. Got it yesterday along with one of these:





I am loving it - looks stunning (I've not seen any pictures that do it justice, including the one I took above), I have a 5 wrap 2,mm Clapton in it, vaping @ 30w and it is almost the perfect vape for me.

The irony is I bought it as a carry around and now need to get a nice safe (but light) case for it as I feel its too precious to carry around at the moment!

I use these for a case; lowepro luxe small camera case

on ebay £2.95 free delivery. They do other colourways in case you dont like the pink inner of the black one I've linked! I cant find the others as cheap as this... but they are leather and if you wanted to vape in case you could easily leather punch out the fire button and airflow slots. I've not bothered as, like you, I just wanted my billet box in a case for transportation beedee

It's reading 0.57 at the moment phtumshk.  29watts is my sweet spot, but it wicks fine up to 40w (which is as far as I've taken it).

Have it with the wider of the two adaptors at the moment - wondering if the narrower one might make the flavour even better (not that it needs to be any better...)

Ah, Id never noticed they were different dia bores, as an old carto user I thought they where different lengths.

Not bad, 5 days from despatch to my door
I picked up the sxk clones of the exocet and the insider too.
I'm actually quite surprised just how small this device is.
There was a light wobble to the main door/panel, so i've put a piece of a sticker in two opposite corners of the panel over the magnets as a shim which seems to have stopped it.
If it works well, it may replace the picos as my out and about mod.

Me too, pyr0 , just waiting for the case that Pepperty reccomended to arrive! Be interested to hear what you think of the Exocet, it would have to go some to be better than the Insider, for me.

The 70W version is SXK's own board so no.
The 60W and 40W versions are genuine DNA boards but the device doesn't have an onboard USB port so no there too.

Apparently it's possible with an evolv 1amp data/charging board


I wish there was an easier way to flip the screen.

I've set mine up this evening with the insider and a stainless Clapton measuring around 0.45, set it to temp control, filled the tank with chubbys Brazilian guava and with the airflow fully open it's quite a nice restricted lung hitter with good flavour too
I'm enjoying vaping on it a bit too much. I keep having to put it down because I've had too much nic lol

tbh one of the main reasons for wanting a dna is escribe with the ability to load wire profiles and why no usb to charge
ok i dont know if the gen dont have one but come on why not add one to the clone
