They look an absolute breeze to re-wick des, is it worth just doing it before their first use or are they ok from the box? The supplied wick is pretty flimsy stuff Blakey, so I'd say rewick it before you use it.

I have 5 of these coming and if they're going to be temperamental then I think I'll just re-wick them straight away so no big deal here either But I wish for once something would just work properly out of the box without any modding required

Thanks perps, I'd pretty much resigned myself to doing that looking at some of the reviews Has des forgiven me yet?

Emailed BV and Chris issued a refund for the DOA straightaway since he had none in stock to replace it with.. Swift resolution to the problem I am glad to say..

I'd just like to add my vote of confidence for Chris.
With me personally, he has gone above and beyond with regards customer service, on previous occasions.

Im sure nobody will be out of pocket, except Chris, who does`nt deserve critisism for a fault caused by his supplier.

As I said in my video, there seems to be some disparity in quality between what the manufacturers supply as samples that they send out and what they send out as production models. I have heard of this before, it was some time ago and I cannot remember what the product was and who the supplier was but they got caught like this.
This is in no way's Chris's fault he cannot be expected to test every item he sends out. His reviews bear that out the quality of his service and I have every confidence that he will make sure none of his Customers are out of pocket.

This was the first time I had used Britvapes, and it is a shame that it was thes E1's where it looks like Chris has had a bad batch or like Des said, they send out a high spec sampler, but the actual order is not up to par. I firmly believe that a measure of a company is not when things are fine, but when things go wrong and the steps that they go through to rectify it. On that I can't say anything bad about Chris at all.
1. He responded within an hr of me sending him an email. 2. He explained the dissparity between my order and the goods received politely and offered compensation on this. 3. On finding out that none of the items worked, he offered me a full refund. 4. I made a suggestion about a different route of refund and he made me an offer back which was even better than I had suggested.
All in all I would give huge kudos to Chris, he is a fab bloke and I would deal with again.
