DIY eliquid

Hi. I'm looking to make my own eliquid but I'm not sure how to make it . I'd like to make 50/50 18mg 100 ml. Looked on the tinternet but no luck. I know it's nicotine shots now.  Any suggestions?

As nicotine shots generally are already only 18mg/ml nicotine, adding flavour or PG/VG will dilute them, so that you will not be able to make flavoured 18mg/ml 50/50 e-liquid.

I believe that someone has posted before a number of UK suppliers that still sell 72mg/ml, (although these now either only sell to businesses or is marked not for human consumption)

With 72mg/ml nicotine it is possible to make 18mg/ml 50/50 eliquid, with flavour concentrates PG and VG.

I've popped your thread onto our Mixology Board, just incase you think it has been whisked away jaye12 . . . . . have you specific flavour concentrates in mind to use, otherwise making 100ml of something unknown as a first attempt, isn't necessarily the best way to get going.

Some eliquid companies produce 0mg nic e-liquid with empty bottle space to have added one or more 18mg/ml nic, generally producing a relatively low mg/ml e-liquid (depending on how many nic shots are added). 

e.g.  (50ml 0 nic eliquid) + (one 10ml 18mg/ml nic shot) =  60ml of 3mg/ml eliquid
       (50ml 0 nic eliquid) + (two 10ml 18mg/ml nic shot) = 70ml of 5.1mg/ml eliquid

I'll pitch in with this graphic in addition to Dave's explanation Jay . . . . . where you'll have a problem as has been said, is with your finished 18mg strength using just nicshots - if you really want to keep to that?

jaye12 - it may sound complicated, but once you start mixing, it all becomes a lot clearer!
Your problem is that you would like to mix a liquid at 18mg/ml, but the Nic Shots are at that strength as it's the highest nic available post-TPD. Obviously as soon as you start to add PG, VG, or flavourings to your nic shot, you start to dilute it and the strength drops.
If you are able to get hold of some nic base at 72mg/ml, then mixing your chosen ratio of juice becomes possible because of the 'headroom' a higher concentration of nicotine allows.
