Yep, a rip off. Even nic is not as expensive as we have become used to paying - it's only because it is "pharma grade" and in demand for vapers, but I'm sure in bulk it isn't a fraction of the cost, just like PG and VG which are basically industrial chemicals avaible for less than £1/litre. Don't forget it is widely used in huge quantities as a non-systemic insecticide, I don't think farmers are paying anywhere near as much as we do per litre If anything, the costly bit is the flavourant package, plus the invetment of time to formulate and maybe registration costs for TPD. That being said, those costs might be better recouped selling more juice at lower costs. Poundland manages to sell juice for £1 per 10 ml, some of which are not entirely horrible, so those "premium" juice need to be very special indeed to justify the £3-£5+ price tag. As has been revealed by the pre-TPD sales, most of them are not. You may be thinking of neonicotinoids as the use of Nicotine for industrial insecticide is banded and has been for a large number of years -- its use is even banded in India! "Pharma grade"e pure nicotine--- is a very very abused statement.
