Just had a good spend up on concntrates and relise that I now need a decent dripper to test my creations and to see when they have steeped to perfection. I have a 14mm dripper from way back when (when they were a new things ), but it is carp: needs left handed coils, is a real pain to insert the coil and wick and has rubbish sized djuice well and non-adjustable airflow. So I'm in the market for a cheap dripper. Requirements: 22mm max MTL suitable Single coil Easy to clean, wick, coil, and adjust airflow Decent juice well Excellent flabour Cheap. Squonkable (for future proofing, I only want to buy one, being a tightwad and all) I almost posted this in the squonking section but didn't want to kick off a religious war Obviously, were talking about a clone, probably from my next FT order (already hankering for a Doggy style...), but which one of the many thousands on offer? So have at it...

...and we in the squonking section are well known for wreaking vengeance on the none believers.... Well, I did list squonkability as a future requirement, but at the moment there are too many shoddy, overpriced battery boxes around for me to become a believer. When there is an iStick 20 equivalent squonker hitting the market then I may convert...

it's a damned shame that the V2 Aeronaut is 24mm, it covers pretty much any kind of single coil build and has a squonk pin. there are a few $15 clones so there is no need to spend 50 notes on an original.
BF pin aside..tbh I think 'future proofing' a cheap purchase by having to have it BF ready is limiting. Not that there is a great choice of good single coil drippers to start with.

I suspect that Your 'carp' 14mm dripper is the same as the one I still use for testing!... It came from FT (natch!..) & was ridiculously cheap! As a 'normal' dripper, it'd be very limiting, due, as You say, to a non-existant juice well. As a means of testing juice tho', I find this ideal:- set up with one vertical coil & a tiny roll of mesh, I get 2, maybe 3 tokes before having to re-drip. Sounds awkward? No, because if I'm sampling several different mixes, I can dry-burn coil & wick, removing all traces of the current flavour, & drip the next one....& so on. No residual flavour lurking in a cotton wick (or having to re-wick...). I've also hacked one for squonking with...squonking don't need juice wells either! As a 'tester', do You really need a well?...Well? If You really do....FT's Little 16 (My AD/ED V anyway!)

If I had to get rid of all my RDAs and keep just 1. Hobo 3.1Nice and simple, flavour for days and all for under a fiver. Tho you do need to spend a quid on a M3 squonk pin if needs be.

As a 'tester', do You really need a well?...Well? If You really do....FT's Little 16 (My AD/ED V anyway!) Well those are fair points. I doubt you have the same one as I do. A quick look on FT gave me this, which looks just about the same as the one I have, though mine did not come from FT and cost a bit more than £1.87 . As you can see, apart from the small juice well, it is severely lacking in features: It floods easily, has too tight a draw and dry hits too soon. It doesn't even give that great a representation of flavour. So yes a small well is a good thing for swapping over flavours, but I can work around that with a short wick and only dripping enough to get the flavour profile. I can always 'clear' it by vaping through with some flavourless juice. Had my Wasp Nano RDTA been more suited to MTL, I'd have gone for the RDA version, but it isn't really even though it gives ace flavour when set up just right. At the moment I'm leaning towards a NarDa clone, but I'm still gathering suggestions.
