domesticextremist - I think the reason I am a bit wary at the moment is the last two Pico squeeze I bought from FT pretty much self destructed on the day I got them. The main purchase this time, the VT Inbox, seems OK - but the Druga wasn't a cheap RDA and was supposed to be "the cherry on top" of my new mod Yes, I know you've had a run of rough luck. If the RDA was really costly it should work, it's not like there's any moving parts or components that can fry, so you are probably right to pursue a claim even if only to get FT/the RDA maker to up their game. Likewise with a high end mod. For the cheaper stuff, it's probably easier to take it on the chin. I wouldn't risk so much money on something from so far away (plus I'm incredibly tight-fisted )

Just to add, high end atty and tank makers really, really ought to be doing top notch QA to justify their premium prices - especially if they want £30-£70 for something that is only marginally innovative - and a lot of them are. If they don't and they ship carp, they are basically telling the world "save your pennies and wait for the binnable clone".

I had a problem with a device some time ago purchased through Alibaba. So I told them I don't do video's and unless they refunded me for the device, I'd start a PayPal dispute. I got my money back. Although I appreciate it's a different situation with Fasttech, they are a law unto themselves - but you do have 180days to start a PP dispute and escalate it to a claim, although there's the possibility they will request you return the item and provide them with a tracking number. That's the pitfall of buying from China . . . . when things go wrong.

Perpetua - I've already said to them I've spent $350 with them in the last 3 months (not a lot to them, I know...) and I would expect them to sort out a problem for a loyal customer etc. Not holding my breath - but just interested in their next move now... To be honest, I could go out and buy a Druga from a B&M tomorrow (I've also already ordered some Skywalkers from Gear Best....) - but it's just a principle thing with FT at the moment

I'm a great one for principles myself! Similarly I know when the time has come to move on and just put something down to experience, rather than waste any further time and energy on a situation. Not that I'm saying you're at that point - bit more mileage to go yet!

I haven't used FT in years but when I did I bought a Hana DNA 40 clone. The first one I had one of the buttons came loose, I sent a picture they gave me an RMA and I returned it. They replaced it but the whole process took at least 3 weeks. The replacement also stopped working and they did replace it.
Go though their RMA system but keeping checking the progress.
If an RDA has failed it may be due to a bad insulator have you tried dismantling it to check?
Have you tried the RDA on another device to check its not the mod that has the issue?

To be honest, I could go out and buy a Druga from a B&M tomorrow But why would you? Though responsibility for replacement/refund lies with FT, the ultimate failure is from the atty maker, who seem to be shipping carp.

Well, the update as of 10 minutes ago is they have accepted the video and asked me to send the RDA back to HK.
They will refund shipping and send another.
I guess this will take weeks and more faffing but at least they are replacing....
