I've been using Aromamisers for about 10 months now, the vape they give suits me fine. I have 4 on the go, three flavours and a spare for when one needs a de-coke. I use 3 DNA200s, latest update SP 2-5? at 50w/205*C. Decks are built with spaced 2.5mm 316 claptons 0.45 x 0.16 wrap for 0.15ohm and cotton bacon. Used the same spools of wire for the coils since I started on the aromamizers. They have all gone off, one by one, the resistance has become unstable and appears to fluctuate between 0.13-0.15. All the atties vape as expected, then either under limit or throw in random cotton incinerators. Cleaned the 510s male and female, stripped the decks down, replaced the screws, checked and reloaded profiles on Escribe. Tried different wires, different resistance coils. Wicks have been worked down to a fine art and if anything give a rich bubbly vape. On an off-chance I put one on my old Evic mini which has NEVER worked with TC and it vapes fine, holds 0.15ohms, TC cuts in, no burning cotton or overheated coils...which ever. Time to order new decks or are my mods playing up? Odd that they are all going one at a time but who knows? Perhaps its just my punishment for being smug about having no vape mail since February?

Check the screw at the bottom, 510 +ve contact, worth removing and cleaning the threads now an again, also with thin wire the screws can cut them. I use aromanizers with DNAs all the time, mostly Ni, but have 3 ss builds on the go and all reliable.

Cheers guys, not sure what else to do with them tbh. I'll give the 510 screws another clean and check the post screws a bit more of a nip up. Got hands like a torque wrench but maybe there is a bit of movement when its warmed up.

I feel for you as I had this kind of thing going on with my rolos for a long time. I'm wondering what mods you are using? I found taking the batteries out and putting them back stopped the problem for a short while and then it just reappeared. Very strange and I used lots of different tanks thinking it might be them. In the end I gave up after many months of trying with different wires and tanks. Since I got the DNA250 though I thought I'd give it another shot and at the same time updated my old rolos. Amazingly everything has been fine since, but I am using drippers now instead of tanks. Anyway from my experience I just thought it might be worth you trying a dripper on your 200 just to see if that also goes haywire. Hope you solve your problem mate as it's bloody annoying 🙄🤔

not so infallible dna200s? I've been using... 2yr old SMY... needs a new battery Rolo... running new-ish vtc5s Windows printed 900mah Another Windows 900mah in an ally case.
If its the mods, maybe the 510s are starting to wear or there is some degradation in the solder or wiring? don't know.
Seems that when they went to the SP updates things went a little haywire. imo Evolve reduced the base resistance sensitivity when they chose to mellow power delivery to improve the quality of SS settings. Unfortunately once the new firmware was installed it was not possible to uninstall some of the changes. Bit of a sneaky nanny update in with rush to comply with the US TPD. I bitched and moaned like a broken record for a while but I'd say that it fell on deaf ears or the hard-core just had their heads firmly in the sand. But it also seemed to sort itself out after a while, I adapted.
What I haven't done is recheck the internal resistance.... wheres my copper bolt. lol

What mods are they? Sounds like board grounding or 510 contacts. I have 3 VT75 Nanos that do the same. Work fine for a bit, then the resistance starts to drift. I clean reseat the 510 plate, and they work fine for a few months. One of them needed the screws holding the board to the enclosure tweaking, as this provides the ground.

Maybe even a bit of unsettled solder. I'm loving tc again on my drone but when tc don't work well it's definitely a big headache. I've been sticking to single coil but just bought a pulse24. Hopefully I will get joy with dual ss 😯 Good luck anyway and I wish I could help as I know how you're feeling 😧👍

Try increasing the resistance on new coils.I think SS is better with a little higher ohms

Try increasing the resistance on new coils.I think SS is better with a little higher ohms I did try that, used a higher resistance core , an extra coil and took up to 0.2ohm. Still erratic. Found the 'tool' and I've had the USB plugged into the laptop for about 5 hours now....still haven't plugged in a mod Single SS coil in an Aeronaut is having the same fluctuations, grrrrrr. +/- 0.01 ohm is 40 degrees variation

I have seen inside one of his aluminium ones, didn't even tighten the 510 flush, open it and loosen then tighten the board mount, be careful he just used self tappers.

The 510 on the ali one is tight and flush, the printed reference styled one had slipped once but that was more my torque wrench fingers
Checked the internal res, Rolo was 0.01 up from 0.004, but really lagging set at that.
SMY wouldn't read so I assume it's under 0.005?. Ad's mods were 0.011 and 0.009, both up a fraction but the atomiser was still unstable between puffs. Seems as if it's sleeping and not recognising the tc material?
Time to check out FT for some new decks and go back to plain coils for a while.

Yeah, not reading is normally > 0.004 IME, Rolo check the screw in the battery bay under the white foam plug (ground for the board). 0.009 is higher than I would accept personally, the 4 I made in the same ally casing and the 6 evolv ones I have that they were based on are all >= 0.004 ohm, that is a hell of a lot of difference, > 100%.

those were the lowest stable readings, otherwise it wasn't reading. SP firmware won't allow the analyser to read lower than 005, but I went back to factory spec on the rolo and set ads mods at 005. $7 for a new deck, I'll find out if they are the problem in a few weeks 😑
