Yes . . . . it's borked at the moment! Nothing we can do as it's not a Proboards issue as such captaincustard - try using this site instead: xomf.com/( No registration required - just C&P the generated forum code. ) Which our DaveJ kindly put us on to.
PS. Postimage seems to be working again now . . . . . gone again!

Just click on the buttony thingame and upload pictures from your images captaincustard . . . . a series of codes are generated, you'll need the forum specific one.

To add a little (From a Windows desktop user's point of view - commands will likely be different for tablet and Apple type users)
* XOMF does support "drag and drop" - that is, you can use your mouse to "drag" your pic from, say, an explorer window and "drop" it directly into that central area...
* You can copy/drop several pics one after the other to that XOMF window THEN hit the "Upload" button. In that case, you'll receive a LISTING of all the links - sadly, it does not give you which pics relate to which piece of code ... meaning you can mess up the order of your pics in your final forum posts (don't ask how I know this!) I use a copy of Notepad (text editor) "on the side" to help me keep track of pics and code if I have a number to do.
* I normally "copy" the "HTML Code" from the "Direct Link" box shown in Perpetua's post above - simply hover your mouse over it (it will be highlighted automatically) and hit "Control & C", then paste ("Control & V") into your forum post using the "insert pic" button.
* I've been using XMOF for several years and it's never let me down. It does not have albums or other fancy ways to manage your pics. It just allows fairly easy inclusion of your pics to your posts.
* I cannot comment how it compares to other pic sharing/hosting sites - I have not tried many.
