I'm convinced my mini was giving more flavour and throat hit than the ego per amount of vapour...
Basically when i inhale I get a lot of vapour but it doesn't have much flavour or TH, where as the mini there was less vapour but more flavour/TH. Does this make sense at all?
How can I improve this? LR cartos? startdusts?

You could have a go at LR cartos, it worked for me when I was on more or less the same kit as you. I preferred Kanger ones.

I think what it might be is that I'm just taking smaller pulls because it heats up quicker I feel like i'm getting more quicker.
I will experiment with some more different juices too, I loved apple tobac 18mg in the pick and mix but bought a big bottle in 10mg and don't like the taste half as much.
What are the advantages of LR cartos?

SR cartos have higher resistance.. Thus they require more "kick" to get nice vape.. LR cartos have lower resistance.. Thus they are thrown around with smaller volts/wats = you get better "kick" out of them without need for VV/HV-gear.
Your battery is basic 3.7V (3.3V under load if I remember correctly).. And that's not even nearly enough to run SR:s well (yeah, they work, but doesn't do wonder).

So does that mean my batty will work better or worse with LR?
I don't like the idea of it being hotter - the carto already gets quiet hot with chain vaping! Am I better with LR or dual coil?
Cheers

Cheers Hi pada, Your battery will work fine with LR Boge or Kanger cartos, and I'd definitely recommend you give 'em a try. I started with SR cartos on me Riva (similar to an Ego but runs at a slightly higher voltage), but after trying LR cartos I'd never go back to SR. LR run a bit hotter than SR, so (assuming the same draw time) you'll get more vapour, TH and flavour. That said, because LR give you more of everything, you may find that you only need shorter draws, and don't need to chain vape so much. I suggest you get a pack of each (Boge and Kanger) and give them a try, both are great. And if you don't like 'em stick 'em in the classies and they'll disappear in no time guaranteed Hope that helps, John

You could try direct dripping for maximum flavour

if you are using ego tanks than that will explain the lack of flavour... they give a nice amount of vapour but strip the flavour quite a bit. cartos or visions would be a good way to go

What are the advantages of LR cartos? the apple tobac from the pick and mix would have had some time to steep and would have been 20mg. 10mg will not give quite the same throat hit and the larger bottle would have been mixed fresh, so needs some time time to steep to become more flavourful flavourful is a word, isn't it? I tried early on to go down to 10mg and it just didn't work, I usually ask for my liquids to be made at 15mg!
