Hey Guys

Do any of you have a Capo?

I've not purchased for a couple of months and I quite like these 

Do any of you have one? and what do you think of them I've watched the reviews but I prefer a more honest opinion

It's a lovely well made mod and nice and compact and works very well but only if you have the right build in it.

It is regulated as far as safety features go, but no boost or any of that so will be similar to a mechanical in that the power will start to dip off as the battery discharges.

You will need to build fairly low ohms to get the best from it as well.

I put one of my 0.5ohm coils in and a fresh 20700 battery and felt like it was pushing 20 watts and I had it set to 100 watts, literally nothing there at all.
Then tried a 0.28ohm coil and was better, but still felt under powered due to the resistance.

Ijoy recommend between 0.1 - 0.15 for the coils so I tried the coils that came with Triangle RDA which are 0.15ohm and it's much better and I settled around 60 watts with that and it feels more like 60 watts.
Problem is that this mod will only go upto 4.2 volts so you have to build accordingly to get the best from it.

Battery life will not be great either way and once just over half discharged, it lacks any oomph so you will be wanting to put a fresh battery in.

It's not bad all in all, but could also be so much better as well.
I am still happy with mine and hope the next version will give a bit more flexibility with volts and regulating the battery better.

Thats the sort of opinion I was looking for

Building that low is not my style so I think I'll swerve this one

Not as if we are short of squonking options now, Dave. Seems like every time I look on the Chinese sites there’s a new squonker on offer, and at every price point, too.

And thats a bonus for the new guys getting into squonking beedee

I've got a few and the CAPO looked interesting but if its a budget / starter mod building that low isn't the done thing (in my opinion)

I'll hang fire for another Therion

The Therion, is a goodie, Dave. When I started there were only two types of squonkers, too expensive or too cheap and nasty! I think Kangertech and Eleaf did us all a big favour by popularising Squonking....

Totally agree beedee

The Pico squeeze was a revelation 6 months ago but now it doesn't get a mention

The Therion is my at home mod due to the price I was looking at the CAPO as an out and about but again as for building low it aint for me

I'll keep my pennies in my purse as you have said the market is moving on

Although I don't use a regulated sqonker Dave, I'd like to see a few more such devices on the market, but proper regulated devices that are trouble free at a competetive price.

Competitive price is the issue I think striker42 as soon as you put the letters DNA infront of a mod title and you put an extra 50 quid on the price

To get the vaping world into squonking all it needs is a safe regulated mod that works

No leaking and easy to build is the way forward 

It will come as soon as vapers get fed up of paying top dollar for smok coils that last a couple of days
