Hollow wire

Ok...finally got the time to try this stuff out

Its .5 wire. Which is the same size as the kanthal i use. I accidently made it with an extra wrap so this one come out at 0.4 rather than 0.25 ish that i normally make them at. Hit the button...and im not getting that funky taste from stainless that i got when trying it before. Its a clean flavour...it IS firing up bit quicker...feels like a similar hit aswell.

I need to take one wrap off it for it to be a like for like comparison to my usual 5 wrap kanthal build. But so far its good.
Once ive made it like for like ill repirt back

Thanks for that sounds promising. Looks like bargain coils are now out of stock of the .5 you must have started a run on the stuff.

Yes .5 SS316l is the main wire I use on my single coil OBS Nanos and on my GV Zeus which are currently my main RTAs. I use .4 on my dual coil tanks.

Ok... now done a like for like comparison. 5 wraps of this gives me 0.3 ohms. So a only 0.05 difference. Definatley fires up quicker, doesnt get as hot as the kanthal equiviliant, and it would appear to give a cleaner/crispier taste. Only been vaping this new build for 5mins but im happy to leave build in there.

Will see how it goes. Be interesting to see battery life difference...if any


Does anyone know if vaping with stainless is any better/worse in respect of health/toxins from the metal?
