Evening Whilst I am enjoying my Athena, I find the squonk bottles too soft. Does anyone know of anyone who does replacement harder bottles, please?

Now there is a first. Its normally the other way round. But they are silicon I know what you mean I cant stand em either. From the gen on the internet its a 17mm bottle so pretty much any of the usual FT squonk bottles should fit but may well be to hard. Have a look at the modmaker bottles as goldilocks once said 'oooo, just right'. The postage is 4 quid so might be worth buying a couple with lids and some spares to make it worth while. A pack off spare seals wouldnt go a miss either.

phtumshk - Thank you Have you got an Athena? If so, do you have problems getting the batteries in and out? Much as I love the Athena, the insides seems rough and seem to be taking a nick out of the battery wraps which is a little worrying...

Afraid not mate. might be worthwhile giving it some attention on the rough edges with some type of sand paper/file if your that way inclined. I know things should be A-1 straight out the box but I suppose they have to cut some corners somewhere to make the china stuff so cheap. Although I wouldve classed geekvape as a higher quality cheap item (LOL).

ghostrider1971 forgot to add if you wrap some tape around your battery and leave a tab sticking up it will give you some purchase to pull down/up to relieve some of the tension of the battery on the contacts before puling them out. Might save you wrecking your wraps prematurely.

Seems they use Silicone bottles in Athena, Silicone is very soft, maybe you can change to plastic bottles, but hard to find one to work on Athena...

Just got an Athena and love it ghostrider1971 - wondering if you take the back cover off and push the battery out - when I first got it I did not notice you could do this so I was using the tape method for a while...

Mod maker bottles are ideal for the Athena squonker.
