Happy New Year one and All . . . . wishing everyone and their families a healthy, happy and peaceful 2018.  Had a quiet, sober evening last night myself ( although I'd put a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for the occasion ) my pup got spooked by fireworks quite early as they started around 8.30 by me . . . . . so I saw the NY in with Jools Holland and his guests, with the dog wrapped up in a fleece throw on the bed. Anyways . . . . .  |

 We spent the evening with my best mate talking about old friends and loved ones, remembering New Years past and drinking cocktails a very pleasant way to spend an evening and a lovely start to the new year. |

Two reasons for the one glass Postmodern Smoking : 1. My daughter had her engagement party on Saturday night and I was a touch "fragile" on hogmanay. 2. To have indulged in more Malt would have ruined the experience of tasting the 50 year old. All the best Dave, hopefully catch up with you at VF this year. |
