To be fair to ferdie.....lol
In his first breath at the post match interview he said:
They (man city) were given help to win the league with the 5 extra minutes of stoppage time.(i'm not quoting)
Don't man utd normally Get loads off stoppage time at old Trafford. I don't hear him complaining then.
Also, there should have been much more than 5 minutes stoppage time with the incident involving the half wit (Joey Barton).
Bad loser in my opinion. And i'm glad city won it. Tho I am a Liverpool fan, lol.
To fergies credit, he did credit man city in the end.

Spurs are probably the most likeable team in the Premier league at the minute to be honest. They play good, honest, entertaining football, I like to see them do well, and know many fans of other lower league teams who also like to see them do well. Having said that, I'd prefer to see Villa do well, always had a soft spot for Villa.

I am also of the same opinion, I like entertaining football, and in my opinion, I'd rather watch spurs at the moment than most other clubs in the prem.

Happy bunny now that Mcleech has gone.

Having said that, I'd prefer to see Villa do well, always had a soft spot for Villa. Lifelong Villa fan me (you can tell, cos I'm a miserable bugger) always had a liking for Derby as well. Happy bunny now that Mcleech has gone. Always have been a Derby fan, Being born here, and growing up here, it's difficult not to be, Derby really is a football city, and the rams are at the centre of that love. But back in the 90's when I was very young, my brother in law used to take me to odd matches at Villa (probably to impress my sister and mother, lol) I remember one match, I can't say for sure what year it was (maybe 1992,) but Villa beat West Ham 1 - 0 with, I believe, Paul McGrath heading home the winner about 20 mins (?) before the full time whistle. That goal put Villa top of the league at the time. Being stood on the Holte End terrace, as it was back then, with the whole stand singing "we are top of the league" amongst other things, was an experience I'll never forget. I may not have chosen to support Villa, but it was certainly that game, that atmosphere, that really got me into football as a spectator sport, and gave me the desire to attend football matches regularly. I often look back to how Villa were in that first Premier League season and wonder how different things would have been if they'd managed to win the league in the end, after being so close for much of the season. I was there in 1994 as well when Atkinson, I think it was, scored in the last few minutes, the Holte end went crazy. It saddens me a little to see them struggling like they have this year, after my experiences in the 90's. I said, at the pre season friendly at Pride Park, before this season, that Villa were going to struggle and be relegation contenders, and it seems I was right. But at least they didn't get relegated, and with Alex Mac gone, hopefully next year will be a better season for you guys.

Well this thread died quickly lol...
So... anyone looking forward to the Euros?
I'm not really, don't fancy our chances.
Here's a better question, for football fans at least. Which are you looking forward to the most, the Euros or the Olympics.
I would have to say the Olympics. I've been looking forward to them ever since it was announced we would host. I have always said I want to see us host a World Cup, and the Olympics.... One down (almost)
