I'm after a bit of help from my fellow mixers, I've made up some juice at 12mg 60/40 vg/pg but my in'ax carto doesn't wick it very well, I'm looking to make it 50/50 keeping it at 12mg, because it works much better. How much pg ( and anything else) do I need to add to achieve this?
Many thanks

Easiest answer.....without knowing how much you've made...... is to make the same thing with the ratios reversed.
60PG/40VG
Then add the two mixes together.

For every 10ml of 12mg/ml nic 60VG/40PG you need to add 2ml of 12mg/ml nic 100PG
i.e. (0.33ml of 72mg/ml nic in PG + 1.67ml plain PG)

There's also a super quick and easy option goodkidd . . . . dilute down with a little Purified water ( although I use filtered/boiled tap water ) your existing mix to make it less gloopy, so it'll wick better. It's something I tend to do during the winter, colder months with any of my max VG liquid that are on the ' thick ' side. Vodka is also an option, although that's better for drinking.

.... Vodka is also an option, although that's better for drinking.... You can drink vodka? Well I never.... That stuff is also pretty good for soaking & cleaning atties.... To the OP - As already mentioned - water is great to thin down thick juices. I use distilled water, 'cos there's always plenty in the cupboard. It's cheap as chips from the supermarket. (Apparently some people put distilled water into irons ... what ever they are)
