SKX Trillium clone ~ first impressions.

Having bought an authentic Trillium from Evolution Vaping as they're on offer . . . . thought I'd have a meander on Fasttech just to see if they had anything similar.

And consequently spotted this:

Curiosity got the better of me and for a little over £10.00 including British Express shipping I bought one on the 31st January - it was delivered yesterday 5th February! 

In all honesty, I wasn't expecting it to be much and had half assumed FT had poached Eden's pictures of the tank as they are apt to do on occasions with equipment.

Me of little faith!! This is actually a very, very acceptable ' clone ' ( to me ) . . . . . excuse the quality of my photo's, I've the equivalent of a Box Brownie when it comes to close up photo's.

Anyhow, I've taken a few pictures of the original ( R ) and clone ( L )  side by side for comparison. Both come with a set of replacement o rings, infact there are more included with the SKX tank.













A quick first glance, it's very difficult to tell them apart . . . . on closer inspection, the drip tip isn't of the same quality, the clone is a couple of mm shorter than the original and the 510 connection is also marginally shorter and narrower. Other than those minor points, it's extremely well made and feels equally as solid as the original.

The clone takes the coils I intend using mostly easily enough and playing around with the various parts, between the two tanks - they've also been interchangeable.

So if you are/were contemplating one, it could be worth trying SKX's version before making a greater investment.

  I recieved my Trillium by Eden Mods from Fasttech...what a beauty...& as Perpetua has mentioned...I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them

So does this take Atlantis coils? Is it a purely MTL tank?

  It does take Atlantis V2 & Triton 2 coils...& I would say MTL HaroldTheBarrel  






  ETA...I now own 4 of these & love them!

It's also good for me using the Atlantis 0.5ohm coils HaroldTheBarrel  . . . . I wasn't so keen on the Melo heads, they worked fine and are relatively inexpensive on FT, but the flavour was missing something in comparison.

I've 3 . . . . an uneven number.

HaroldTheBarrel I have 2 of the fasttech ones ...due to influences who shall remain nameless ..I use both the triton 0.5 and 1ohm coils ....I find it to be a very airy MTL with the airflow full open .......

Neither do I but I just ordered 1 along with an RBA head for 12 quid.
If I dont like it Ill give you first dibs on it lol.

Senior moment, forgot Id ordred this lol.

Absoloute peach of a tank, so easy to fill and holds more than I expected it too.

Cant coment on the stock coils but the RBA though not exactly 100% with a bit of modding (some squonker tube in the deck hole) its a spot on RLH which is how I likes it.

I think I might  actually prefer it to the Rose 3 TBH.
