Has anyone got or does anyone know of anyone with either a 2017 Ford Fiesta or a 2017 Toyota Yaris Hybrid? And if possible with an automatic transmission on the Ford Fiesta (I know, I'm asking a lot here being so specific). I'm looking to buy a new car and can't decide between the 2 of these, and it's hard to find proper owner's reviews, and especially trying to find reviews on the automatic Fiesta - almost impossible I just need some honest comments on the way each of them behave on the road over time, or had any problems with them that I should know about. I have test driven both, but only a manual Fiesta (they didn't have an automatic promo one ) and now just can't make up my mind on which to choose So, any help would be very much appreciated

My son bought the 990cc Fiesta Titanium in October... he's loving it. Surprisingly nippy with the turbo and good fuel consumption

My friend has a Ford Fiesta Zetec with automatic transmission, if that's the same thing! They seem happy enough with it . . . . . I've driven it a couple of times, although I'm not a fan of automatics - but that's more because I'm not used to them and I don't like driving anyway. But it's a smooth enough ride, spacious, quite nippy and reasonable petrol consumption especially on a run. The heated front seats are totally lush, not that I'd imagine that being a concern to you toots!

Thanks guys & gals for the feedback at least on the Fiesta, especially the automatic comment by Perpetua as that's the type we're interested in buying, and I think we're going for the next one up from the Zetec so that might even have a bit more oomph which would help the automatic side of things. The one we've been looking at is the Titanium like your daughter's one B Road Blaster & your son's one pipeman01 with the turbo ecoboost which seems to be on the latest models. And yeah Perpetua I think the heated seats are a definite no-go area for us over here, along with the de-icer for the windscreen we're looking more at the air con/automatic climatiser packages I didn't really expect to get any or much feedback on the Toyota Hybrid as I don't think it is as popular as the Fiesta.

I get accused of fogging up my friend's car with my vaping, which is true enough as it does . . . . but the AC soon clears it away and works very efficiently. It might even be a Titanium that they have, I've not really paid that close attention must confess as it isn't an ecig - but it is very pleasing shade of gold metallic.

We had a gold metallic car a few years ago but due to the sun being so strong here it affected the colour and the metallic really badly in big patches - the car looked such a mess in just a few years, we bought it from new so that's all it took to ruin it, just a few years of Tenerife sunshine, it was embarrassing running around in it Now we always go for the best colour to have here on the island which is a solid white. We would love to have either the ruby red (more like burgundy) Fiesta or the deep turquoise blue (both metallic) but we just dare not go for those colours!

Update................. Decided not to go with either of those 2 cars in the end and chose a Seat Ibiza FR automatic in white with all the bells & whistles instead Anyway, ordered it way back couple of months ago and finally picked it up earlier today - yay and it is absolutely been driving it around all afternoon, just to get the hang of it you know (as you do)!!! Parked it up downtown whilst we went for an Indian meal as a celebration and found half a dozen taxi drivers swarmed around it when we got back to it. They all gave it the thumbs up and said what a lovely car it was. It's got a fantastic registration number, so easy to remember I can rattle it off without having to look it up...........3200 KKJ - how easy is that eh! Happy as Larry as they say
