As most of us who build their own coil I am after a good, sharp, durable pair of scissors I have seen this scissors in reviews and I really like them so I made a quick research. It is a bit pricey from Ft because of the postage. Someone mentioned "Fiskars Quick Clip" on the Ft forum so I had an other quick research and I found IT on Amazon Anyone tried them or any opinion will be appreciated
Cheers P

I've always found thrum scissors to be perfect for the job (mainly cutting wick cleanly) mine came from fasttech for under a quid and are still cutting beautifully. I favour them as they work very well one handed as those ones you show do, i'd just wonder how easy it is to get a thumb/finger through the ones yoy show there (and are they expensive?)

As this pic shows it can be used quiet easily and it is a bit more expensive than the Ft thrum £7.74 + FREE UK delivery Here is the link www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0001P08J2?tag=vigukb-5-21
Ft might changed their shipping policy because these are the only options for shipping of scissors

Gosh!! surprised that they limit delivery options, its not like you can brutally shank someone with thrum scissors.... Are there any cheap on eBay? importers normally buy stuff like that in bulk and then double the price and throw on there? *edit* Yep! as I suspected, thrum scissors £1.68 UK stockist

It's not an FT policy it's the mail carrier policy, i assume there is some knew regulation which now classifies bladed items as dangerous goods so are not able to be shipped on commercial flights and can only be ground shipped.

Maybe it's just me but I find plain old nail scissors (~£2 from Wilko or other places) do the job. When they get knackered, I get another pair. It just doesn't seem a saving worth making to get them on a slow boat from China.
Nail clippers (also cheap) are used to trim close to terminal posts. Thicker stuff can be cut with wire clippers.
Am I missing something?

My God! I didn't look at postage, good job I wasn't buying haha. I'm normally on the ball but that was a hell of an oversight 😂
