Because this. But especially this little bit: Yet that same liquid nic is in the Quickmist spray and is freely available, uncontrolled, from supermarket shelves. So, in theory, I could, if I was so inclined, buy a Quickmist spray packet, upend the contents into my RTA and vape that. Wonder what the politicians and lawmakers would make of that? (NOT that I'd recommend such action since Quickmist contains "extras" I'd rather not be inhaling.) There's OUR Cancer Council, Therapeutic Goods Admin, Public Health and politicians for you. Blithering idiots, the lot of 'em. * Guess where I live? Fortunately, the Law Enforcers seem completely uninterested in policing these rules. I'm not aware of any regular user being charged with this offense. People who supply, though, is a different story and I do think some have faced courts for that particular offense. *sigh* - just a bit of a rant is all. Carry on!

Makes you wonder that if the Poms hadn't said it then the politicians may have taken more heed, but there are total dicks everywhere, I'm sorry that most seem to have ended up as Australian politicians.

Just goes to show that a brain is an optional extra in an Aussie politician

$45,000 AUS?.......That's about a £tenner ain't it?... ... hehe - yeah, good point. But even that "English Tenner" would buy me a whole bunch of misc vaping shiny objects, wouldn't it? Just goes to show that a brain is an optional extra in an Aussie politician Ummm .... I don't think Aussie Politicians are the only ones suffering with that problem. I do think the crazy strong ANTZ got their grounding shaping "community attitudes" very early on in Oz. Way back in the '70s I remember the "Buga-up" crowd www.bugaup.org/ and their campaigns against Smoking/Tobacco (S. Chimpie's University class mates - yep, that's where he got his start) gaining traction. Theirs and others long campaigns have succeed - and it's now very difficult to overturn their years of work. That, and that Vapers are only a very small percentage of voters (way less than 10%) so there's really nothing in it for the Politicians. That's without considering who has the big money to splash around ..... *sigh*
