Not to sound negative but plenty of people make their own or buy from people like yourself, So i would be looking to do something a little different what i'm not quite sure. Maybe to design your own coil thats new to the market place as suggest by drunkenbum things like ni80 seem to be the wire of choice for people wanting quick heat up times and a lot of squonk users. Price wise you really need to be going high end as to many people make their own and the big co's can knock them out cheap as chips so you need to stand out for top quality coils, that way people are willing to pay a premium. Again use top quality wire thats clean and constant not cheap crap that has funny tastes and changes resistance every time you put a new one in. Most coils seem to be set ohm's so maybe go for different ones like .3 .4 .6 .7 .8 1.2 that sort of thing rather than the normal .2 .5 1 1.5 Are you going pure custom or hopping to make a standard full range and sold to retail outlets ?? Also you will need to get a good looking website up and running if you wish to go full on or will it just be a sideline / hobby type of thing ??. If these points have been covered before please excuse as i just sort of scan read the thread. Any name you come up with make sure you register it and make sure it is not already in use. Names : coil collective collectable coils metal mayhem wind em up wound up coils to go pre coil (or coiled) taste the vape vape me to the limit coils 4 u coils r us hope all go's well and things work out for you. Awesome input thanks. I love the idea of producing something new to the market, although there are so many different variations of the same coil. I will try and design something over the next few days and see how I get on. With regards to the types of wire, I going to give kidney puncher competition wire a try as all I've heard are good things from users. Ni80/ni90, ss, kanthal. Ni90 seems to be becomeing the new standard. I was hoping to keep a standard range of the normal types of coils fused claptons aliens with set ohms and materials etc.. And offer a more custom service also we're you can choose material, ohms, coil type, number of cores, gauge of wire etc.. Thanks again.

Ummmm I'm not "arty" in anyway so I cannot really offer "style" comments, but a couple of thoughts from the practical point of view. These are offered only as trying to be constructive and certainly with no offense intended. * How do the images you are playing with scale? Seeing a couple of the samples above - they look OK when bigger but when scaled down they seem to loose their "clarity". Especially for those like me with "old eyes" who hate having to pull out the specs just to read text on a label/logo/icon. In a shop I'd prolly not be bothered to pull out the glasses if I saw a couple of those samples above and pass onto the next item/product/label . Maybe that'd be my loss, but that's me. * Colour? Often times highlighting something in a bold colour makes that bit stand out - perhaps a bold, bright colour for that text as I mentioned above might just help clarity at smaller sizes. Maybe. Obviously your output methods will affect this - printing colour costs more than B&W. * Logo - I get the monkey image with your chosen name. But as Perpetua above said, we vapers already identify with coils (and batteries, mods and atties). Because of that I wonder if, somehow, you have latitude to work into your logo something coil related, either with or instead of the monkey image. Or a whisp of vapor or something else directly VAPE related. But those are just only my quick ideas ... and I'm the first to agree I'm not the best at style/design ideas. I do wish you luck with your venture.

Perhaps the monkey theme with the tail spiralling into a coil?
