I'd say more a professional hobby I don't consider it a job really more of a service I meant financial security wise. Id say go for it in that case. For me personally it wouldnt be of venefit as ive been building coils for a few years and know my sweet spot for my style of vaping. It would really depend if you are happy with you're own coils then that's great. If you want something exotic, a little special and that'll last atleast 3 weeks give me a shout with some specs

Just for me personally all the fancy coils etc dont make the vape any better. This is obviously just my opinion...and could possibly be relative to the hardware i use. Just my opinions mate. Wish you well with your venture

I forgot to put this in the first post but can I also ask about prices? What would you guys consider reasonable for 2 standard coils suited to you're desired ohms with cotton please keep in mind that I will be using only the best wire for the coils and also fuzz cotton as I find that the best. If you have any other opinions please put them forward.
Also looking for reasonable prices on the exotic coils bespoke to you're needs plus prices if you guys want them conditioned/ colored.
Again this service is going to be for normal members of the public so you're input output is invaluable.
Thanks george

Thanks george I'd also look around at what other people are charging George . . . . . don't pitch yourself too low is my personal thinking, you can always lower your prices if needs. Not so easy to go up! If you are providing a high end, bespoke service for people who prefer not to coil, then there's no shame in making a reasonable/realistic profit for your endeavours in my world.

What she said ^^^^ georgerobertson6 . Underselling your skills, time and effort would be a disservice to yourself. Good luck with your venture.

Good luck with your venture georgerobertson6. I hardly ever use pre-made as I like wrapping coils, but when I have, something that drives me nuts is people not giving full info about coils/wire - eg what wires are used to make up claptons, the ohm, the diameter etc. I think it would also be great to recommend the best use for coils and, of course, some safety info. Hope you don't mind me suggesting but, if I were you and were selling to strangers I'd also do a bit of a disclaimer (ie be safe, use good batteries and safe equipment, but we accept no liability for unsafe use of this product sort of thing - could probably crib a wording online) I would be worried about some idiot, who thinks OHMs Law is a TV detective series about a Buddhist monk, putting an 0.1 build in a mech with a cheap fake battery, then blaming the resulting mayhem on my coils and taking me to court! (OK, I'm old and cynical....)

Come to think of it, georgerobertson6, you could supplement your range with some 'one shot' ready made wire - for people like me who would prefer to wrap the coils but do not trust themselves with long lengths of wire combined with power tools....

Great idea m8, it also means you can choose how many wraps/ diameter you would prefer although I couldn't really give accurate info on ohms. But that's a given👍

Not to sound negative but plenty of people make their own or buy from people like yourself, So i would be looking to do something a little different what i'm not quite sure. Maybe to design your own coil thats new to the market place as suggest by drunkenbum things like ni80 seem to be the wire of choice for people wanting quick heat up times and a lot of squonk users. Price wise you really need to be going high end as to many people make their own and the big co's can knock them out cheap as chips so you need to stand out for top quality coils, that way people are willing to pay a premium. Again use top quality wire thats clean and constant not cheap crap that has funny tastes and changes resistance every time you put a new one in. Most coils seem to be set ohm's so maybe go for different ones like .3 .4 .6 .7 .8 1.2 that sort of thing rather than the normal .2 .5 1 1.5 Are you going pure custom or hopping to make a standard full range and sold to retail outlets ?? Also you will need to get a good looking website up and running if you wish to go full on or will it just be a sideline / hobby type of thing ??. If these points have been covered before please excuse as i just sort of scan read the thread. Any name you come up with make sure you register it and make sure it is not already in use. Names : coil collective collectable coils metal mayhem wind em up wound up coils to go pre coil (or coiled) taste the vape vape me to the limit coils 4 u coils r us hope all go's well and things work out for you.
