Hi I was wondering if anyone could help . I bought a pioneer N 75 ....same as pico 75 ...only cheaper however when I put my tank on and depress the fire button the resistance value changes randomly ...as does the voltage ....what could the cause be ? Is it still safe to use ?... Thanks

Sounds like the screws are loose (well, not fully tight) on the RBA deck... common problem

Unstable contact somewhere. First things first try the same tank on a different mod to see if you get the same issue that will rule out the internals of the tank as the issue if it works fine on a different mod. Now try a different tank with a more protruding 510 pin on the Pioneer, if you don't get the jumping around then the issue is most likely a poor contact between the 510 positive pin on the mod and the 510 positive pin on your tank. If you do get the same issue even with a tank with a longer 510 pin then the issue is probably a poorly soldered joint on one of the wires in the mod either to the 510 or where the wire is soldered to the board itself, only way to fix that would be to resolder the joints.
As far as safety goes i wouldn't panic it's not gonna blow up on you the worst that is going to happen is the mod isn't going to deliver the correct amount of power to the coil sporadically. if it delivers too little no big deal, if it delivers too much then you're gonna get a very hot coil and possibly a very hot dry hit.

I think it's an internal issue I've tried everything else .....as long as it doesn't blow up all will be well ....thanks for the input

I used to have a mod that was always doing this Fagsareus - however, the wattage worked fine and there were no weak or burnt hits, so I put it down to a problem with the board or the software and ignored it. It gave good service for many months but then died because the 510 connector gave out after I had to use a bit of force to get a stuck atty off it!

Are you using TC? Fagsareus No marksixysix I'm using it on power mode That is odd then and as you said, you tried all you can and what Get off your cloud has mentioned. The same tank on a different mod shows Stable Ohms? Probably an internal fault but as long as it's not getting hot or doing anything out of the ordinary, should be fine, just keep an eye on it
