Well, ordered 19 May and received (even with Yodel being used....) today - very quick delivery.

First impressions are they are very, very good. I'm using them with the cleito, which might look slightly daft to some as the fatboy is probably the same height as the mod...but it's working for me.

Very nice, bright screen. Serious weight for such a little mod - feels very sturdy. Very pocket sized and nice clicky buttons.

Big up to Get Off My Cloud for the nod on this one - 16 quid....absolute bargain

Hope I haven't spoken in praise too soon on these

One of them has gone "slightly crazy" this morning and keeps switching itself on and off.....and reading a 0.4ohm Cleito coil at anything between 0.8 and 1.10....

Will clean the contacts but am hoping it hasn't gone loopy already

The other might come back to its senses I guess - if not, I paid 30 odd dollars for one good mod - still happy with that

Open a ticket with GB ask for a refund or replacement for the faulty one.

Get Off My Cloud - I did think about it....but last time I got a mickey from FT they wanted photos...then videos....then the product posted back to China....then a video of me doing a karaoke of Que Sera Sera etc etc.....

It might be defeatist and/or lazy but I think if I buy from China (and I only buy cheap now....) if it works OK, if it doesn't its a write off.....

Yeah i know what you mean it really boils down to who you get lol some are jobsworths others aren't.

I've had different people with the same company respond very differently like one that absolutely insisted i return an £8 RTA that arrived broken back before getting a refund and another that has refunded a £40 mod without question.

Now when i open a ticket i send photos with the first message because they always ask for them anyway so that saves one useless message being sent, if they ask me to send the item back which sometimes they do and sometimes they don't and it's a cheapo item i just send a message saying the cost of packing and postage would make sending it back pointless at which point they will invariably offer a partial refund which is better than nothing.

Yes, very hit'n'miss..just had one with efun, minigun1 's capo squonker decided to start firing on it's own. Efun wanted pics of serial no and unit, plus video of it happening. One e-mail of pics and youtube video upload later, coupon for full purchase price He promptly ordered another one and it's on it's way. Fair-do's to efun.

I do very much agree with everyone's comments on both sides of the discussion . . . . although, I'd give it one shot at least ghostrider1971 with some photo's and thereafter plead total technical ignorance at the standard Chinese response when there's a problem with a purchase.

It can only go one way or t'other - but at least you've had the satisfaction of trying, before accepting it's too much hassle and moving on.

S'wot I'd do anyway.
