Got all the gear out to make a number of custard recipes and discovered I have not French Vanilla... What can I substitute ? I have Vanilla custard from Cap, TFA and FW.. DDL, EM and... Grahame Cracker Malted Milk Bavarian Cream Milk DX Butterscotch Sweet cream DX Marshmallow NY Cheesecake Vanilla Cream Condensed milk Perpetua, is this one for you? TIA

Oooooo . . . . . plenty of choice there pipeman01 , is your Vanilla Cream from TPA/TFA by any chance, if so it's the reworked version of their French Vanilla Deluxe, which should be a straight enough substitute for French Vanilla: shop.perfumersapprentice.com/c-154-chocolate-vanilla-flavors.aspxI'd also happily use Bavarian Cream, Condensed Milk and Butterscotch in custard recipes just to ring the changes from a straight vanilla custard. Graham Cracker and NY Cheesecake if you want more of a Custard Cream Biscuit. Lots of possibilities there with the flavours you've got.

Thanks Perpetua, i did use the Vanilla Cream (TFA) as a straight swap... The plan is once it's steeped for a couple of weeks I plan to split into 30ml pots and add in some of the flavours above
