Top stuff.
I had my last fag about a month after joining this site (was dual fuel for a bit), so that's about 6.5 years now.
First couple of years I had the occasional craving but got over it and the tech has moved on so far I don't miss it one bit.

Yeah, but not as much as it would have been if I had been living in the UK, as the ciggies there are one hell of a lot more expensive than here. Mind you a couple of weeks ago I was in the shop where I always used to buy my cigs and asked the guy there how much the ones I smoked had gone up to during the five years and I was quite shocked as they had increased by around 10 euros a box of 200. They used to be real real cheap back in my smoking days

Hats off to you toots keep it up. I know many who have fallen back on the wagon so kudos for being committed to your own health and not being swayed by peer pressure.

Over the years ya know it's only people who still smoke who have ever protested against my vaping, funny heh. A bit like giving up crack or any opiate, they need to verify their continuous dependence by ensuring those around them are chastised with the same vice.

Yeah faren I find the same thing with a lot of smokers too. Some are ok but a fair number really don't like the fact that I've given up smoking and they then ridicule me with my vaping.

There is no way I can ever go back to smoking now though, I don't even like the smell of cigarettes and the stale smell of the smoke on people or their clothes. I don't ridicule them over it though, even when they do so to me over vaping.

Me neither toots , if someone drives past with the window open smoking, I can smell it!

My smoking work mates aren't too bad on the whole, they think I'm weird ( which bothers me not in the slightest! ) on the rare occasion anyone has said something detrimental about the smell from a flavour I'm using . . . . . then I just point at the ash bin, whilst sweetly inquiring if they think that looks healthy and attractive. 

Which tends to shut them up quite quickly.
