Poor man's reserve - BCL

Evening each,

Poor man's reserve is billed as "Cigar, cognac and buttermilk - one for the connoisseur".

Being about as far removed from a "connoisseur" as it's possible to be, I had to give this one a try.

Mixed at 15%. 70 VG. 4mg nic. Usual Cleito 0.4ohm @33w

Well, that was quite unexpected.....the best lemon fondant and biscuit vape I've ever had. Very lemony, very soft and true flavour and a lovely biscuit aftertaste.....errrmmm...so, what about the cognac and cigar?  A very good question....

I put a message a on the BCL FB group saying "Lemon and biscuit" and had a reply saying "This concentrate has divided many people. Some get lemon and biscuit. Others get the billed profile" (I would have thought they were quite away apart....!)

The owner of BCL also kindly commented and suggested steeping for another couple of weeks and the cigar then comes through....

So, at the moment an absolutely excellent lemon biscuit vape (best I've had).....which might turn in to cigar and cognac

Just tried this one again...almost 2 months on......and it's still a very nice lemon fondant vape

Smooth, deep and flavourful.

Cognac and cigar......? Errrrmmmmmm.....no......

Which would you prefer - lemon or cognac?

Not opposed to either really would love to try a cognac cigar tho had a real good Cuban type flavour a few years back by a guy called fear....was the closest to smoking cos of the flavour....amazing

solac77 - Although as a company they are not in my favour at the moment, the BCL Cuban Cigar is absolutely excellent - although I understand even though it is listed under their NET range that one isn't actually a NET

Enjoying some Blackfire from BCL at the moment with a glass of malt ghostrider1971. As much as some of their concentrates are very good, they are somewhat letting themselves down in other areas. Three emails over a two month period = no reply, not good. Question asked on FB page, on which three other members commented = no reply.

Well I've just received give it a sniff test im getting lemon biscuit...we can see where this going....to be continued....

So I know this is not the "done" thing but I mixed at 12% 8020 4mg give it a bath and have tried on a dripper....went a bit old skool plume veil....ahhh I get the lemon straight away and also the biscuit with cream but it's also has a ginger biscuit feel....up the power and also got that ashey profile too....gonna let this sit for a bit and try again....nice lemon tho!!

I still think it's one of the best answers I've ever had from a retailer "Whilst the profile of the concentrate is cigar and cognac, a small number of people have said they taste lemon"
