Gutted. But on the bright side the most up beat campaign of recent times...just such a shame as of how the tournament opened up. At least it weren't ******* penalties:(

Haven't posted on here as don't watch or follow footie at all but my daughter does and right this minute is in Croatia with her Dad and is a little torn on loyalties shall we say He isn't Croatian but moved out there a few yrs back.............

Yeah Croatia deserved the win i'm afraid to say, they pushed forward and created way more chances we were just lucky they weren't able to convert most of them.

Croatia were the better team tonight. Would have been great if footy matches were only 45 minutes long.

Well done to England though, the belief and heart was there this time around and hopefully they will get better with age and experience

striker42 - Absolutely - there was no "Plan B".

Kane who has been a trooper all tournament looked knackered from the start. Sterling - less said the better. Rashford and Lingaard will get better and better. Fair play to Pickford for another great save. Southgate is an absolute hero to me now - I thought he was going to be another grey man in an FA blazer when he was appointed but he has been excellent. Humble, humorous and passionate. Trippier was superb again - really sad to see him limp off

They were and deserved the result . . . . we looked all played out in the second half.

But as someone who only watches football during the World Cup and Euro's, I think Gareth Southgate has done a magnificent job with putting together and inspiring players to play as a team for England. He has succeeded where many others have failed before him and has given us back credibility in the football world  - I hope he stays on as Manager for a while yet.

I'll be cheering loud and proud for us to win on Saturday, we've 1990's result to better.
