I know that shipping via airmail from China takes an absolute age but I am now starting to get concerned about an order I placed using the free shipping choice at Fasttech.
I received an email from them on the 2nd of May saying that it had been despatched BUT the package has still not arrived almost 7 weeks later!!
I'm not impatient in the slightest but I think that the wait is getting a bit excessive now!!

I've had stuff from FT between 10 days and 5 weeks.
Which free option did you choose? I think most people now go for the UK E-packet (for memory....) which is the quickest to the UK.
If you went for Chinapost, I think it can take a fair bit longer....

They wanted more than the cost of the items for the express e packet which I would normally chose!!
$3 to post an order less than $3 is just plain stupid to me!!

If it's an item eligible for British Express Shipping, costs pennies . . . . then it doesn't take an age in fairness winnietyson and that's the option I always choose now as my waiting time has significantly reduced to 7-10days, from 4-6 weeks.
In your case I'd open a ticket, although you'll likely get the standard Chinese reply, but if come the worst case scenario you paved the way for opening an item not received claim with PayPal.

I ordered some coils shipped on the 7th may using free shipping with no tracking and got them this week. I'd give it another week or so. Hopefully they'll get here by then

I must admit I use UK e-Packet now, for an extra 50p or so on average, and it takes just over a week provided of course that the gear is in stock when I order. Much improved on the free option.
