No Foam?

Hi again Folks well My screwdriver arrived today and iv got the battery on charge, but the cartridge has no foam in it, and checked everything else, can't see none, so what do i do now? can I just go buy any old foam and cut it about, not sure, so help please.

Hi Kos,

If you are talking about the "cartridge" that came attached to the atomiser, then that's just a blank. Your "proper cartridges" that come with your kit, will be in a separate container. (Used to be in a little cardboard box, but not sure if now packaged differently)

Don't throw the blank away though as it can be stuffed with foam. No you can't use just any foam. The one James @ Paradise Vapes sells is a good safe one to get.

there is just the one cartridge (mouthpiece) that came with it it has 2 small holes in it but no foam, being a newbee sucks lol.

If so it doesn't come with any cartridges

All atomisers come with an empty (blank) mouthpiece, but it can be stuffed. Do you have any rollie folters handy? if so you can cut these down & stuff your blank mouthpiece with one. Either that or you can just use your SD for now by direct dripping a few drops of juice into the mouthpiece end of your atomiser.

Thanks Chrissie, yes I got the basic kit and some sample juices to try and a 501 converter and atts to start with, the cart has a hole in the end that i can draw air through is that the correct thing or do i need to buy some more or other carts?

Kos, you will need a few spare cartridges at some point (well OK, you could do with some now ) But a 510 or 910 cartridge is basically exactly the same thing as what you get attached to your atomisers when you buy them. Apart from the fact they are filled with stuffing.

So yes, "the cart has a hole in the end that i can draw air through" can be turned into a proper cartridge by stuffing it.

I'm feeling bad that I was too tired last night to check what Kos was ordering The SD MK11 base kit isn't really any use for a newbie that doesn't have any other e-cig. As well as the fact it doesn't come with cartridges, it also only has the one battery.

They are winging their way to you David What I have sent you are 5 round tip prefilled cartridges. The prefilled ones mean they not only have the stuffing materiel in them, but also some e-liquid. Don't worry about them already having juice in them, you can refill them with the juice you have bought.

Lol, I'm afraid they aren't going to look brilliant on your SD as they are the orangy-brown coloured cartridges. they will fit either the 901's or the 510 atties you got from TECC.

I've also enclosed a window poster type of flysheet that I got with one of my orders from TECC. Thought you might find this useful if they didn't send you one.

Back to the blank mouthpieces/cartridges that you got with your atties & to make use of them before the ones I've just posted get to you. As well as stuffing them with Swan super-slim filters, you can also use coffee filters & the material from tea bags. Though it's mainly recommended to use Lipton tea bags, I think any may just about suffice. Just trying to think of things you may have in your home so you can get started as soon as your battery is charged. You can of course as I previously mentioned, just direct drip a couple of drops of juice onto the atomiser.

Thanks Chrissie, what do owe you? just tried it for the first time using a swann filter tip, Wow it worked and I like it , I will be hanging on to your apron strings for a while till I get going, hope you dont mind.

David, you don't owe me anything, I had so many of them it would take me for ever to use them all up. I bought them off Tiny Tim (one of our members) who didn't get on with his e-cig. When he advertised them in our classified section, he showed a pic of a whistle tip cart which I prefer.

Lol, glad you got it working & you like it Using the Swan Filter tips does take up a lot of juice though.

And double LOL . I'm sure others will have an apron string to offer you as well
