When I go on holiday I have used a powered multi usb hub to charge my vapes, phone, camera etc. but sadly on our last trip the whole thing just fell apart so I need to replace it - looking on Amazon I've seen several different options either 2.0 or 3.0 USB - would choosing a 3.0 make any difference to charging times? Or would it make no difference? Theres a cost implication as the 3.0 is more expensive so I don't want to waste money if its not going to give any real improvement. Also the hubs with multiple ports thinking of at least 7 or even 10 - some say in the description that they have 2 charging ports - does that mean only 2 of the ports would charge my devices when plugged into the mains? Finally does anyone have any recommendations?

I believe that is the one I have, never had an issue with it and had it with me on holiday in Bulgaria last year.

I use Anker and Rav power 6 bay usb hubs and both work well. It's the max amps you need to look for as well. You can use all the ports at the same time, but the speed of charging will be lower if all the ports are in use. This is the type I use linkComes with a 3 pin plug so you would need an adapter for the country you need or just go with the plug in type that stu1873 suggested

I have heard from several sources that Anker is a very reputable brand, snow. Taking an extension cord with you is smart. We did that on our recent road trip and it proved most handy on a couple of occasions. Coupla other "power" thoughts you might also consider. We packed and used a "power board" - something along these lines: linky - just so we had several "power points" available. I always look for ones with a switch for each outlet, but there prolly isn't any particular reason to require that on holiday trips. I also ensured I had at least one spare USB charging outlet. Just in case ... I hope your trip goes well.

Aukey is also a good reputable brand. Very similar to Anker.

+ one for Anker kit here too. Not that it is needed by the looks of it.

Aukey is also a good reputable brand. Very similar to Anker. Aukey was the other one I was trying to think of. Go with whichever is cheapest at the time

I've bought the Amazon Anker 6 port one, on the strength of your question and replies snow . . . . although I hardly travel extensively, other than to Vapefest once a year - it seemed like a useful widget to have at home.
That's how susceptible I am to the power of shopping suggestion.
