Peanut butter Ice cream - Dark Star

Mix - 70 VG
Nic - 4mg (Maybe just under as the concentrate and VG = 97%!)
Concentrate - 27% (website suggests 20%)
Tested on - Pico & Cleito v.1 - 0.4ohm - 30w

What the website says - "Our uncontrollable love of peanut butter has driven us to bring this delicious thick and smooth flavour straight to your drippers and tanks."

So near and yet so far. The mix has a delicious smell of peanut butter and cream which gives an appetising aroma. In the vape you get a peanut butter on the inhale and a cream on the exhale. The flavour is far too weak for me, even at 27%. I think there is a smashing mix kicking and screaming to get out here for the want of mixing this at 45%....or maybe 85%....

It is very smooth and has a nice cream on the end. The peanut butter appears (too weak to be sure....) to be authentic and almost from the jar.

Perhaps the best way to describe this would be a tea bag being wafted over a cup when I wanted a proper cup of "builder's tea"... it needs to be more punchy and powerful.

Weak and wishy washy, sadly over used phrases of mine now, again.

As a final point, it was interesting to note that Dark Star have declined to publish the review I sent them for their weak and un-icy orange, "Solstice" - good job we have an open forum to share these things on......appreciating all taste is subjective

Sorry to see it wasnt any good mate. Even more sorry for the fact D.Star wont put on all valid reviews.

As for P.butter...i love the real stuff yet couldnt find a good vape version of it. I gave up years ago

As always ghostrider1971, an honest and open review. Your explanation regarding DS pains me somewhat as the vaping public are largely denied information contained in an honest straight up the middle review. As for "in house" juice reviewers Andy, you know from a PM what my feelings are on them. Keep up the good work and hopefully somewhere down the line, you decide to go a bit more mainstream with your unbiased and totally impartial reviews.

NomNomz Nutter Custard is about the best I've tried . . . . . mixed at 30%, steeped since April - it's a smooth, buttery custard vape with a nice splash of peanut. The nut element isn't overwhelming, which I was glad of as I find peanut can be a bit of a ' dry ' flavour and generally use Pecan or Walnut when I'm in a nutty mood.
