eBook readers

Hi people,

Have started to get back into reading in bed rather than watching videos on tablet/phone... Thats supposed to be bad for your eyes/brain!?

So i was wondering if anyone uses eBook readers like the kindle?

How do you find them with eye strain at night? Are they not like tablets (blue light rays)

I only have the older ones not paperwhite so I need a light source.As you know you can make the print any size you need

No glare or shine I have the paper white no eye strain I really like it .... not the same as reading on a tablet light is much better

Plenty of free modern books from your libary online just download them and convert them in Caliber

Hi Ron, sorry for sounding thick...but what do you mean by that?

Caliber is a program that converts epub to mobi files that Kindle reads

I get mine from all sources Amazon do a lot of free Kindle books and also if you are a member of the libary online there and if you are a torrent user "wink wink" alot are there

thebishman I've got a paperwhite and I love it. I also take it with me at times when I'm away from home as it's so light and convenient. As well as Amazon and epub, Google "free ebooks" and you'll get a few suggestions.

I got my mother a Kindle paper white last Christmas and she absolutely loves it, I got most of the books for free from mobilism some come already in the correct format for the kindle but other's I used Caliber like Ron has mentioned.
