Just want to say a big thank you to all the home mixers here who share their expertise and encourage vapers to try mixing, be it newbies or oldbies! I am totally amazed that I have, after 8 years and a cupboard stuffed with various brands of fashionable/costly juice, settled on a few juices which..bloody Nora..and although albeit simple.. I have made!!

And guess what....they all taste just ok....back to the stash cupboard and back to the home brew for me....

Mixing your own eliquid has never been been simpler with the vast array of one shots available . . . . and if you want it even simpler, then shortfills abound also - where the most there is to do is add a nicotine ( or two ) shot, what's not too like! In addition to being able to tailor what you make to your own specific requirements, be that flavour levels or PG/VG ratios. Once I developed a sensitivity to PG, that's pretty much what I've done exclusively in over 8years of vaping, back then we didn't have the luxury of VG heavy readymade, one shots, shortfills and the many excellent recipes there are about now . . . . so everything had to be made using single flavour concentrates, trial and error - much of that! But it was a brilliant way of getting to know how different flavours work, either alone or in combination with others. I've bought more readymade this last two years, than I have the whole time I've been vaping, all bargains due to the TPD and some of the other great deals there's been about recently. None of these have compared to what I can make, had I paid full price I'd have been most disappointed! There's been a few I have enjoyed, which can be replicated as none have been especially complex blends . . . . but they've satisfied my curiousity, reassured me I've not been missing out on anything gobsmackingly good and preserved my nicotine base stash.
So if you're thinking of taking the home mixing plunge in 2019 do it, as you won't find anywhere better than the friendly, impartial and knowledgeable advice AAE-C has to offer!

As long as I can get supplies I'll always mix my own. Been at it a few years now and to me it's the only way. There truly are some masters out there and sometimes their recipes are such a pleasure to make and vape. Plus some awesome people on here have helped me along the road like kreed, Perpetua B Road Blaster @tomstorey. I have above 50 good recipes in rotation now and still make up more and find more. Happy Christmas, Happy Vaping and Happy Mixing 🎄😊🍻😉🤗

I make 2 litres at a time. But I only vape one tobacco flavour I mixed up years ago (experimented a lot at the time, and finally one was just perfect for me) It also takes about 5 minutes - pour half a litre of 72mg nic/PG, half a litre of PG, a litre of VG, and my secret recipe of flavours (all from Flavourart) into a milk bottle (I do rinse it first), leave to steep for a few weeks, decant into half litre bottles, which go in the freezer. When I use, I decant some into smaller dripper bottles, but mainly squonk using a filler bottle, so just fill that up from the big one. I get the occasional pre made liquid, mainly from a vendor who chucks a couple in with hardware, but while some are ok for a few puffs, I tend to go straight back to my own.
