Hi, from what I can see there are varying types of tank set ups available. Could someone be kind enough to explain to a relatively new vaper the various types available. I have one i am using at the moment which has a wick and I have seen some on the net that just look like they have a cartomizer in the tank(presumably punched)
Any assistance would be appreciated as I am looking to get a tank set-up for my new Provari mini ordered today.
Thanks
Andy

Thanks Mixdoctor, thought I wasnt going to get a response. They look good particularly the tank version which is what I THINK i would opt for. Presumably you use the cartomizers until they run out and throw away, and just replace the cartomizer in the tank set-up? If so do you get pre-punched or punch the hole yourself?

I get pre punched ones which also has a flat round base like www.vapeescape.co.uk/pre%2Dpunched%2D510%2Ddc%2Dcartomisers%7E321 those are low resistance 1.5 ohms and i have noticed even though they are excellent my provari won't let these go above 3.4 volts but you can get standard but I got mine from HC not looked for UK supplier as I got a load of both in my recent HC order you see. Now some people say you need a hole on both sides of the cart but tbh I have not found a problem with just the one hole and I can't half pull a drag lol Glad it helped Mixdocotr BtW if you are ordering don't forget to use a discount code

I use a similar set up. www.ecigwizard.com/shop/en/puff-tank/380-olympian-dual-coil-tank.html ECR69 discount code. 12.5% ... I think. Most sellers who sell the tanks stock the punched cartos. I shop around to see who has the best deal when I need some. The carto will either start to have a tight draw, taste burnt or flood when you need a new one in my experience. They last me about 4 - 5 days. Edited to add, I always push a drawing pin into the hole and wiggle it a bit to slightly loosen the wadding so the juice can flow a bit easier through it.

There is also the Vivi Nova tank here: www.safercigs.co.uk/Vision_ViVi_Nova/cat705284_1275566.aspx that comes with 3 different resistance coils that are very easy to change/replace, only £11 - discount plus P&P. Good value as you get 3 coils with it. I bought one at the Vape meet last Saturday and I am intending to do a video review soon.
