Is anyone stocking up with anything vape related against the nightmare of a hard Brexit? I am looking at my rather aged collection of 18650s.

Anyone have any thoughts about the affects of Brexit on vaping in the UK?

No, got supplies, but I guess people will be more focused in keeping their job/business and the cost of basics than they are on vaping supplies, not that it isn't important and a good call.

Richard46 I'm also already stocked up coils, batteries enough nic base in my freezer to get me by for several years.

I'm more looking forward to (hopefully) being able to buy a +2ml tank in the UK again. All my new tanks are from China, not because they are cheaper but because of size. I know the establishment is all about control but I'm not sure what they think they actually control with the TPD. If laws fail there is always the professionally offended to fall back on.

Only thing I've thought about in relation to vaping and brexit is we can get rid of the stupid tpd beyond that i stocked up before the tpd came into force still got enough wire, cotton, mods and nic base for the next ten years at least.

Be careful what you wish for, remember the UK gov wanted the EU to put E-Cigs under med regs when the TPD was being written and that may well have been the case if we were not in the EU then. I don't see UK regulations getting better if we Brexit, but hopefully the huge uptake in the UK will prevent a UK government putting knee-jerk restrictions on vaping .

The med regs had their pros and cons but weren't looking to limit tank size or nic content as my discussions at the time with my GP were concerned and being in the med area would have enabled the NHS to prescribe them the tpd is junk legislation by among others the tobacco industry

Nope, I have a lifetime supply of everything. The only worry to me is if the flavour concentrates start getting hard to get.
The vaping world seems so unstable right now and I would urge anyone to be prepared, have supplies, start using rebuildables and making their own juice, just in case

I'm baffled by the question. Concentrate and wire sellers, the better ones, are UK based. What do we buy from the EU?

It will be all imports affected by Brexit not just from the EU, we will be on WTO rules until we do a trade deal which each country that will make many things more expensive for up to 10 years. Most of the raw materials and virtually all hardware comes from abroad. ATM if we align with the US Trump will demand we join the tariff battle with China, he may be gone by then, but there are so many unknowns, but it is extremely unlikely imports or anything that uses imported raw materials will be cheaper.

Another aspect is regulation, back in the day the UK wanted harsher restrictions than the TPD, I wouldn't have worried a year ago as there are so many vapers in the UK but with the amount of scare stories lately it wouldn't surprise me if some politician tried to bring in some knee jerk regulation, just look at what is happening in the US.

Same here, essentially the only thing I will need is some more VTC5s, niece and her o/h want some too so looks like an order will go in in January.

VTC5's only £4:15 a pop at Fogstar at the moment
