Help! Allergic to what now!!!

Hi All
I am still struggling with vaping allergy/intolerance, i have been trying to eliminate stuff for a couple of years now
I have eliminated PG, all flavours and more recently nicotine.

I am vaping flavourless, zero nicotine, 100% VG from vapegreen in an XEO Void.
I am still getting a bright red face around my nose , cheeks and lips and various random itching spots on my body. Its more severe if i vape a lot and when im in a warm room. When i dont vape, it goes away.
I should just give up but dont want to end up back on cigs.
Can anyone help me get a solution?  If it is metal in the coil in my Void , what can i get instead?

Random but have heard of people having a reaction to certain metal drip tips
Do you get it with all flavours ?? or just one flavour.

I have been through periods of this and have narrowed it down to a couple of things.
It's either dryness caused by excessive vaping or it's contact through touching your face with vape liquid on your fingers.
Just using a mod will get vapour on the mod and your hands and while it's at your mouth you get vapour on your face.
Use wipes to keep your mod clean, wash your hands regularly and I use a moisturiser to combat the facial dryness.

Hi, thanks,  yes ive noticed that its worse if i touch my face so i wipe the tank  and my fingers a lot. It seems like my skin is reacting where the vapour touches my face, ie nose, mouth and cheeks but i also get itchy weals on my back or leg or arm where the vapour doesnt touch so its definately allergy
Its wonder if there is a nickel free alternative coil or tank available ?

Think those coils are stainless steel - might say ss or 316 somewhere on them ?
Not many people report allergies with stainless coils but you never know.
Could even be the type of cotton used in the coils.

At least you are trying to rule out things one at a time.

oh yes, it is printed with SS, so maybe not the coils then? Gah!!!! what the hell is it!

Pretty sure 316 (and all 300 series) contain nickle. Even if you find an SS grade which doesn't have nickle in the recipe the manufacturer may well have added a bit - it's ubiquitous.

If your Void uses stainless steel coils, then they likely contain some nickle.



Other common coil materials over the years are nichrome (contains nickle), and kanthal (does NOT appear to contain nickle).

But as you have been vaping for some time with a selection of devices I'm sure that some (or many will have used kanthal, i.e. non nickel coils).

You cut out PG, Flavours and Nic, is VG the elephant in the room. Seriously though VG intolerance it is far from unknown it's just less common than PG intolerance. These sh1t days you will have to mix your own liquid because clouds won over flavour and social responsibility (not fogging out the room).
