Overdue from China

Anyone else been waiting longer than usual for stuff from China? Ordered some bits and bobs from FT on 4th Jan; tracked to air transport on the 15th (before they went on holiday on the 20th)  and since then nothing. Usually get stuff from FT in less than fortnight, Coronovirus related perhaps? Nothing urgent in that order but I need to get a new set of kit for a friend and don't want to order from China again if this looks like a long term problem.

I had one delivered on Tuesday that was stuck in Air transport since 13/01 showed up on tracking at Langley on 27/01

I am still waiting on a banggood order from mid November

ETA I got a full refund and got the stuff from eBay

Hope it arrives one day. Thing is I have been buying from FT for years and never had a problem. Apparently 'FT' are blocked from going to their business premises for the present due to the virus. They are having to work from home apparently. Must be a bit of a nightmare over there, hope they get things under control before many more deaths.  

A delayed order pales into insignificance.

Service alert: the ongoing coronavirus spread is placing China under defecto lockdown.
Local labor policy currently prevents staffs from returning to work as scheduled.
Customer service is available with limited capacity at this time as we work from home.
Shipping is now expected to resume normal service on February 10, 2020. More details to follow.

Service update: the ongoing coronavirus spread caused China to extend the Lunar New Year holiday to February 10, 2020.
However as we returned to work, local authorities laid down a number of new, previously unannounced rules to deliberately slow businesses from resuming work.
Customer service is currently available with limited capacity as we continue to work from home.
Shipping is now expected to resume normal service on February 17, 2020. We are working hard on this and we apologize for the wait.

It's going to hit their business hard - I already cancelled my order and bought from the UK the disposable tanks I have been using as I was out of those, luckily I'm well stocked with my usual coils, but there will be a knock on effect to UK suppliers too as they won't be able to get restocked if this goes on indefinitely.

Just got two parcels that had been sitting somewhere since 15/01/20. Still two outstanding.
Could it be that ours quarantine them w/o notifying us?

Had given up on my bag of bits when it appears on the tracking at my local delivery office. That is over a month since it was dispatched by FT on 14th Jan. Wonder if it was quarantined somewhere?

There's a good chance it was held up in the Chinese lockdown due to the Coronavirus. The China situation has had an adverse affect worldwide. I know between 3 haulage firms local ish to me, 49 trucks and container trailers never turned a wheel last week due to lack of containers coming from China.

I work for a large shipping company and the latest Corona Virus information we have is this:- Up until the 24/02 goods coming in are being held until such time that they can be delivered, as staff have been advised to stay home.

So expect goods leaving and entering China to be heavily delayed.

Yeah, they taking a while but I'm getting mine. I only order stuff from China that I ain't in a rush for
