In related news, as part of the TPD coming into force May 2020 - we've just had all the official blurb through today at work:
( Interesting to note Philip Morris challenged this aspect of the regulation. )
Menthol cigarettes account for a reasonable percentage of cigarette sales, which no responsible retailer would be selling to minors/underage people anyway, so what does this actually achieve?

Same with 10ml eliquid bottles, etc. Whilst the TPD could have been worse.... a lot of the regulation has been plucked out of air with little or no sound reason. |

Mainly about Heat Not Burn tobacco products, that whilst safer than smoking are not as safe as vaping. Philip Morris still pushing hard the tobacco/cigarette markets in less restricted markets/developing countries.... clearly promoting cigs to kids and youth.  Basically Big Tobacco still (unsurprisingly) being Big Tobacco! |
