Hi everyone,
i was a member her years ago, in the early days of vaping.
I went nuts, buying a lot of kits (Sigelei and many others etc etc) millions of eliquids, concentrates to make my own flavours and so the list went on (and on).
Sadly, it didn't last, because to be honest, I couldn't be ***ed to do all the coil changing, charging, finding out where the leaks were coming from, fed up with work desk looking like a crack lab on night shifts, so I went back to cigarettes.
Now?
A work colleague has a Innokin Proton Scion II thing, and said that coils last much longer, the flavour is better, it is easy to set up & has lots of settings to make the whole vaping thing better.
So I ordered one from Innokin & am waiting for it to turn up
Fingers crossed it is as good as he says!
Wish me luck & hopefully THIS time, I can bin the cigarette thing.
Cheers Ian
ps. I used to LOVe Vapemunki's Spider Venom for the throat hit & taste, but they have disappeared - is there anything that is the same or incredibly similar available to buy - I'm not going to make my own eliquid any more, I'll just buy premade stuff.
Cheers again & apologies for the long post/thread

Welcome back Ian - good to see you!
Tjuice currently have a rather wonderous sale on, which I've patronised a little too much . . . . but there's some ready made to be had at bargain prices:
Shipping is also free on all orders, no matter the value.
While you may not want to go down the full on mixing route again, perhaps ' Shortfills ' could provide a slightly less costly option than buying all pre-made. Pared back explanation, a shortfill is generally a 60ml bottle, filled with 40 or 50ml of concentrate/PG/VG . . . . then all you need to do is add one or two nicotine shots and you're done.

The Innokin Proton Scion II thing is a nice set up. The mod is very easy to use and good taste on the Scion tank. I used it until the coil was gone but only because I already had Horizontech Falcon and Falcon King tanks (China for size) here. I think the Scion tank can use coils from other tank as well.
Other than that, good luck to you.

Hi Perpetua & thank you for your reply.
Yeah - regarding the "short fill" thing - work colleague said a lot of places do the short filled bottles & you just add nicotine to it & vape it - hopefully it's as easy as he says. I'm too old to do complicated now.
I'll have a look at t-juice shortly - I still don't know what flavour I want yet - something that knocks my throat out, but not really keen on menthol.

Maybe Affrodiziac from T juice. Pretty much a marmite juice (love it or hate it) but it's very strong in taste

winnietyson - what sort of flavour Is that Affrodiziac?
I thought for a moment that it was Marmite flavour, and as much as I love Marmite, I don't think I'd enjoy vaping it hahahaha

Thanks, Postmodern Smoking
I am now on the T-juice website & it says "Afro Dizziac Concentrate" £1.58 ....
Seeing as I only received the Proton Mod thing yesterday, and haven't vaped for a number of years, I have no idea how things have progressed with regards to eliquids.
Is that Afro Dizziac concentrate okay just to put into my tank, or do I have to add nicotine to it?
I just want very very simple this time round, after my last aborted effort of buying all of the stuff to make my own.
I'd rather buy ready mixed flavours than mess about ...
And there is this "short fill" flavours - what is THAT all about?
Erm ... helllllp!
Cheers ian

captainchaosx2 Concentrates need diluted with nicotine and PG/VG. Short fills are pre-diluted concentrates that just need nic added and allow space in the bottle to do so. (Due to TPD regulations the maximum bottle size of nicotine liquids is only 10ml; shortfills are sort of a loophole, where the nicotine is in 10ml bottles and added to the larger shortfill bottle of dilute flavour to make e-liquid) E-liquid is ready to use, but due to the TPD legally only available in 10ml bottles.

Ahhhh okay (sort of),
So ... IF I buy short fills, I can add some nicotine to it to mix it and then put it in my tank to vape, or is it more complicated than that?

It works well for making low nicotine eliquid (3 or 6 mg/ml nic), as legally nicotine can only now be sold in 10ml max 20mg/ml bottles. (If you are looking for stronger nic content then you'll need another work around, unless you've still some 72mg/ml) What strength of nicotine do you vape?

I used to vape (I think) 18mg Spider Venom by Vape Munki (R.I.P.), and it did make me cough a bit hahahaha but the taste was divine! I've just received Jack The Dripper premade - 12mg - haven't tried it yet because I'm still trying to read and understand the instructions for the Mod thing.
Oh yes - another question - is there a "shelf life" on old eliquids - I've got ...erm ... hundreds I bought years ago when I tried the vaping thing first time round - shall I just bin them & start anew?

If you intend vaping at 12mg/ml then shortfills will really only work by adding stronger than 18mg/ml nicshots (i.e. 72mg/ml nic).
Re. old eliquid, past their best before dates... a lot depends on the flavour and how stored (e.g. cool dark cupboard)...
Many people on here would go on taste... rather than just binning.
