Hi all, I'm looking for opinions about the following please, Innokin adept zlide kit Uwell crown pod system Tecc arc gti kit.
My Mum has been vaping an aspire k3 tank on a zelos battery for a while and she finds it too heavy to hold. (She's 88 years old and suffers from essential tremor,) so needs lightweight. I fill and change coils for her, but would like to upgrade her kit. If you have any ideas on what to pick for her (MTL) I'd be very grateful? Thanks!

Hi, I haven't had a play with the Zlide kit, but Innokin make solid gear and if it isn't too heavy it would be my choice of the three you mentioned. Definitely an upgrade from the K3 tank too. The battery life of the Crown might be a bit of an issue and while you can get MTL pods for it, it's the sort of device that was really designed for a restricted lung hit and to play nicely with higher VG, low nicotine eliquid. Anything Totally Wicked/TECC branded is quite pricey and better equipment can be had elsewhere, to put it politely. I don't think anyone here would recommend spending money with them in most situations. Something else to consider is the JAC Vapour VIM. www.jacvapour.com/vape-kits/aio-vimQuite compact and lightweight, without being too small to be an issue, incredibly easy to use/maintain and it has a nice rubbery finish that should be quite easy for your Mum to grip. The device and coils are reasonably priced and it performs nicely too.

Hi, My guess would be that the Adept and the Tecc would be a similar weight to the Zelos. The Uwell would be much lighter, but I'd suggest maybe this: Innokin SceptreIt has a slightly larger battery than the Uwell, looks really classy, is easy to use, and gets very good reviews. You could prob get a couple of them for around the same price as as an Adept or Tecc. Hope that's some use, all the best, John

Hi Kat, No prob, glad to help An easy way to get an idea of how weighty an ecig would be is to check the battery capacity, ie it's stated mAh. More mAh = larger battery, so more weight. For that reason I think the jacvapor mod would prob be too heavy too. My mum's also getting on a bit and hasn't much strength in her hands, and she thinks my Kroma R is 'massive' xD (it's prob around the same general bulk/weight as the Adept / Tecc / Jacvapour). All the best, John
P.S. Phil Busardo's Sceptre review here: Innokin SceptreThis dang thing looks so tasty I want one!

Thanks John,
I really like the sceptre, especially not having to use the fire button!
I'll try one of these first,
Thanks again, Kat.

Sitting here with the Sceptre in my hand feeling like the Queen!
It's great and I think she'll love it, (just testing it out for her.)
Thanks again!

Got a pink Sceptre today. Nice lightweight and discreet but the fire button is awkwardly placed on the side. Maybe I’ll get used to it. I find direct drawing not so satisfying and doesn’t always work.
I’m into the Adept Zildes which are good but weighty.
