Not very warm at all here today and it absolutely bucketed down this morning. Going to get colder next week as an easterly wind picks up. Great. No happy medium with the British weather.

with a pair of grips you can slacken the knurled ring holding the trv in place , this will allow you to remove trv and therefore allow full flow of HOT water through your radiator. I would also advise unless you are already comitted to pop into your local plumb center and get a trv yourself rather than pay someone to fit it , it's a really easy job. If you can get your head around vaping you can easily change a trv

Ha ha very funny! There was an old dear where I worked who claimed to be a medium. She looked large to me, but never mind. One evening she said to me " I can't remember if I've had my pills or not today." I told her to use her psychic powers and she hit me with her magazine.

Could have been worse Anne, you could have told her to read her magazine and she hit you with her psychic powers
