So I've a 5ml tank filled with clear juice and it's got the sliver carto thing in the middle. The juice (a nice apple ice) which is clear was put in. Now over time the liquid has discoloured and is now brown, it also tastes a bit burned when I vape now. I'm assuming the tanks set is using a cheap cart and that the cart is burnt so should I empty the tank clean it and stick a boge in it and go again ? Also on a similar topic one or two holes in a boge ? Cheers

Also perhaps you are vaping at a high voltage which will burn the juice more, hence discoloration. I use the flanged LR cartos in my 3.5 DCT Tank @ 3.7v and don't have a problem. Cartos should last 2 - 3 weeks minimum with this setup.

As Des says Allan . . . plus you'll find that ejuice does oxidize in colour over time, so there does tend to be a colour change whether you're using it or not. I do one hole in Boges, but it'll depend upon what mix juice you're using . . . and the weather, as the hotter weather we're experiencing right now, does make ejuice more fluid.

Cool thx gang is the slightly burnt taste normal ? Or could this be a dry carto as there is still plenty of juice in the tank

Not really Allan . . . sounds like you're zapping at too high a voltage, or it could be the carto is past it's best now, or the juice you're using isn't wicking well enough if it's a VG heavy mix.
What are you using it on and how many ml's of juice have you put through it?

It's a 50/50 mix and it's had about 5ml in total through it.

I presume you used the tank in that rare thing they call sunshine in the past few days..
Juices get darker with heat and exposure to light and Oxygen..Nothing to be worried out..
But if it is tasting burnt, it's probably too much wattage caramelizing the juice or too much heat due to the warm weather..

if you pull off the drip tip is the carto nice and wet? if its dry then the juice may not be getting into the carto ....wiggle the top cap of the tank and see if there are air bubbles coming out of the carto holes... once you have done this you may find an improvement with any luck
