Mix - 20% concentrate - 70% VG Nic - 4mg Gear - Voopoo Alpha - Cleito v1 with 0.5ohm coil @ 55w Blurb - Ripe banana and sweet strawberry smoothie flavour. Short and sweet? ARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! (Yep - this ain't gonna be pleasant....) Just wow. How to take something simple and potentially beautiful and to turn it in to a monumental mess. Right - Let's try to be nice to start with...DK Cooler is the new 'cooled' range from Donut King. OK, enough being nice - back to business. See this from my point of view - a pre-cooled, fruit smoothie. Banana. Strawberry. Pulped up. Cooler. What can go wrong? The 'banana'. They say in the blurb 'ripe banana'. Well, if they meant 30 gallons of fermented yeast or malt, they would be much closer. The only resemblance to 'banana' this absolute abomination contains would be a whiff of a homage to a banana so ripe it has turned black, decayed and was the last snack taken by a T-rex before being dug up by the Natural History Museum. It smells horrible and tastes even worse. It is the only all pervading and disgusting excuse for a flavour that I get with this one. I'm actually even concerned about pouring this one down the sink, lest I get a knock on the door at 3am from a group wearing NBC suits and representing Thames Water. Disappointed? Yes. Irked? Incredibly. Angry? Almost.... This is why no one will ever pay or incentivise me to review stuff - I like telling the truth too much

pacman - I've also got their mint and lime tea on the go at the moment - conceptually, it is great again - the lime and mint works well but there is this atrocious and, as yet, indescribably bad after taste which isn't related to lime, tea or mint. Almost like someone saying, let's make a great juice and then add something awful to it to totally wreck it. Very strange...

Are they sweet flavours ghostrider1971 ? I ask because I used to find if Stevia was used that left a really weird aftertaste . . . or I'm trying desperately (and failing ) to remember what was used in the likes of Colonel Custard instead of Acetoin & Acetylpropionyl for a creamy effect, but tasted like decayed baby vomit to me. Dave Postmodern Smoking can you recall?

Butyric Acid is what you are thinking of Mandy (also found in milk, parmesan cheese and decayed (or fresh ) baby vomit!) which is an alternative to Diacetyl, Acetoin and Acetyl Proprionyl [ETA]

Perpetua - They certainly do have some sweet going on. As with most commercial juices far too much - I think the thing I was really miffed about was this actually sounded like a fairly simple recipe and one that should have been great...but certainly isn't Nice pulp fruit - bit of sweet and sour with the strawberry - bit creamier and stronger with the banana - half a gallon of WS-23 (well, for me...) and leave it there.... I think the one that you and Postmodern Smoking described is a strong possibility.
