It is a shame about the bridge costs otherwise you could of poped over and picked up a few from me, with a few syringes to go with them as I am just over the water. My throwing arm is not what it used to be so I could not throw you any lol

Where abouts do you live. I'm near Ross on Wye and have spare needles and syringes that I dont use anymore. If this is any use to you I'm happy to meet up and let you have them. I thought you may be within reach as

I need needles with a slanty hole (for filling DCCs down the side), not the flat hole as in Batty's link. I couldn't find any on eBay, thought they must have banned them.

The ones I posted come in different thicknesses and lengths (same seller) what DCC are you using? I might be able to send you one to try out?

Scylla, I sell these - they're a bit longer than the eBay ones, 40mm which is just over an inch and a half, 18 gauge with a bevel (slant) but still blunt so much safer to use than sharp ones from the vets. They come with a red cover on them.

I normally sell them along with a small syringe (they call them 2ml but they are graduated up to 2.5ml) as a 'Carto Filling Kit' for a pound. They both come in individual sealed sterile packs. They ought to fit OK to get posted as a 'large envelope' so I could send a couple of each to you for £3 if you wanted unless you have decided to accept Batty's kind offer. Drop me a PM if this is any use to you.

By the way, I believe you are correct - dear old nanny eBay has banned the sale of needles (even blunt ones!) though as Batty discovered a few sellers are still doing them as refillers for ink cartridges; I think they're just careful not to use the word "needle"!
