Hi c/wobbles, l am hoping the same from the home visit, is that right you switched on xmas eve?? did it take you long once you had e cigs to stop the nasties completely? that is my worry that l wont be able to completely switch over and that is what l need to do, so any tips how to do that bit would be great

i stopped straight away with the e-cig but don't beat yourself up if it doesn't stop you first time as everyone is different and it may take you a little while but you will get there in the end all of a sudden you will feel like you do not want an analogue (proper ciggie) and that they taste like crap after a few days...just count the one's you don't smoke not the one's you do...you will be fine i am sure of it ...this is the most helpful forum i have ever been on ,there is always someone on who will help no matter what time of day you are having problems

I smoked just 2 fags the day I made the switch-over, and none since then. I`m guessing that its different for everyone. Finding the right set-up with gear & juices seems to be the key.

The thing is is not to stress over it don't think of it as quittin, there are many of us that have taken to it instantly and some that cut down then eventually came off the cigs. You will find you use it more than a normal cig and that is because the body doesn't absorb the nicotine like smoking does so just keep vaping through it and we are all here to help and support you good luck

i was a 50 per day rollie man and after getting a lookalike stopped straight away but the batteries were crap hence where steve and bel popped in sorted me with ego style batts and away i went went onto bigger and better and never looked back
guess it was the right time for me cause wifee tried but not succesfull

Thanks to you all for your stories it does help having other peoples experiences to learn from, c/w l don't have the problem as l am the only one in house that smokes so hoping this will make it easier for me as don't have any added pressure from anyone about it. just want to get started now but will wait for the cavalry that is coming to help as don't want to waste money buying the wrong stuff, everyone carry on the good work and advice, it is really helpful to all us newbies to you all

My friend has just got herself a male blue merle rough collie, he would be about 10wks ish now called Drifter. She has been into Rough Collies showing etc for gosh at least 30yrs. I bet you would at least know of eachother

Ask your friend if she heard off Rifflesea Collies they have been around for aprox 70yrs

She is in Devon, but has lived up north etc, I will give you some clues, see if anything rings a bell and if you know her. so childish I know but I am childish #icon_rofl#

Here goes-she and her husband have always had/shown/bred rough collies, they gave up showing for a bit due to health, she and I met six yrs ago as we bought litter mates Australian shepherds, she showed the Aussie a lot more than I did, sadly Pebbles died young of epilepsy, my girl has petit mals and hopefully it will never go full. Their Prefix is............. Sharrain, so you know her?

Not personally but have been at shows where they were (big shows) l am sure that Rifflesea know her and visa versa, in the near future l will be starting on a life long pedigree for Rifflesea from the first dog she ever owned upto the present day (hopefully) and this will take some real brain work on my part so the dosh l save from the e cigs will be well invested
