Other half smokes roll ups although he is going to start vaping as soon as i order him some supplies lol, my dad used to smoke but hes no longer with us, mum smokes but shes doing well with a skycig kit at the moment, eldest brother smokes, eldest sister is trying to quit via vaping other brother and sister dont smoke. Think i might have started a vaping trend in my family

OH gave up smoking 12 years ago. only other smokers I see regularly are 2 friends and the SIL who is now vaping too .

No OH . . . but I come from a family of smokers.

My younger brother and only sibling, as many of you know, died very suddenly at 44 . . . of a massive heart attack, bought on by his chronic smoking habit.

Despite being a Paramedic and the Manager of his local Ambulance Station at the time of his death . . . my parents never even realised he smoked until he died, he hid it from them . . . and with the smell of tobacco in their house, they never picked up on that either.

Mother used to smoke, 20 a day . . . but ' gave up ' the one cigarette a day she smoked for many years some time ago and is 85 in June.

Dad is still and probably always will be a pipe smoker, I used to love as a child, sticking my nose in his baccy pouch and smelling what I thought was a glorious smell . . . he's 84 in November, although he has the most dreadful cough thesedays . . .

My wife has never smoked and works on the Cardiac unit at the local hospital.

My mum smoked but now vapes.

My sister smoked but quit as she is pregnant.

My Dad has never smoked.

One half of me used to smoke whilst the other half kept cautioning me not to, so started vaping..

Dad was a heavy smoker quit it 5 months back when he had a minor attach due to a blockage (My cousin who was the doctor who operated on him convinced him coz of my mom that the block was due to ciggi and he has not touched a ciggi yet)

Wife does not smoke (She loves the smell of some of the vapes but wants me to quit that too shud not have married a dr)

Thank you for answering my nosy question. Didn't want to like them as some are very sad. Mum came round yesterday but wasn't keen on the vaping. Has signed up to chemist instead to get tested every week instead. She may poss get one for evenings
