My weight has stayed more or less the same as when I was working which has surprised me as my job was very physical. I often forget to eat during the day, lol, but when it comes to the evening after dinner and I'm scrolling through and reading the threads on here is when I get the munchies. Crisps, or chocolate, biscuits, maybe a slice of cake, whatever I fancy at the time. Strangely, it often depends on what flavour juice I'm vaping too. If it's fruit, I feel hungrier. If it's coffee, or cookies for example I don't. Weird.

I agree, that there should be no weight gain, something to think about if your a vape all night long person, is to have a batch of lower strength juice, that way your not upping your nic intake because of chain vaping, it is just spread out over time

I have gained a few pounds since vaping. I put this down to the fact that vaping all day makes me feel bloated so I don't want a good balanced meal so I snack on rubbish food which is not really my style as I like to cook from scratch and eat healthily and have maintained my weight for years. It is something I will now have to deal with as I hate the word DIET, never done it or needed to. I think it must be related to the amount of VG that causes me to bloat, but I don't really need the TH as I never used to inhale fags anyway. I am in a rock and a hard place at the moment.

I havent put on weight since starting vaping but have found that my appitite has increased, whether this is due to improved tastebuds and actually appreciating the taste of food now, I'm not sure ??? Have changed my food stuffs to include a lot more healthier foods (I've always tried to make sure I have my 5-a-day lol) but am trying out foods that I've not tried before Still now and then I have a craving for junk foods, dont think that will go away lol

No gain here either, I always used to put on a few pounds when I would try and give up, if I tried to give up vaping I would prob still put on the pounds. But vaping has just replaced my old habit.

I agree Sandra - if I stopped the hand to mouth of vaping then I think I would pile on the pounds.

I did put on weight when I quit tobacco cigarettes, but then once I started vaping I was able to get that weight back off. i use e juice with nicotine in it , not nicotine free, as nicotine free might make you feel hungry. Damn weight gain, i love my food.

Well, in the past three years before vaping, when I was smoking 50/day, I had lost 30kg, fairly steadily. Since starting vaping three months ago, I've been stuck at the same weight, varying slightly, but it's harder to shift. I suspect the fags were helping me to lose it, but quite what metabolism was going on, I don't know. Anyway, now I'm aware of the problem, I can tackle it properly.

I think many of us ladies used to smoke, instead of eating Farzooks . . . I know I certainly did. Plus the chemicals in cigs do act as an appetite suppressant, amongst other things. And the act of smoking does of course fill the time that could be spent eating. Vaping has just replaced smoking for me time wise, I wouldn't say my appetite has increased in any noticeable way, indeed I crave less in the way of sweet treats, as the juices I vape tend to be very sweetie orientated. So it's been win win for me.
