Is anything good for very greasy skin? I've been thinking I should get something that will 'mattify' my face, but I don't want to start wearing make-up to hide it ??? Kibb, I have the greasy T area and I have just started using Simple oil Balancing Facial Scrub(I use it with Boots exfoliating sponge very gently and it is very good, my pores are more refined and less greasy Ooh, thanks Phoenix - I think I should give that a shot. I have huge pores (thanks genetics ) and I tend to use baby wipes to keep my face clean. Didn't used to get spots often when I smoked, but now I'm spot city! This facial scrub will hopefully help. I'll let you know

I did buy some Primer...Revlon Photoready, must have the wrong shade. 001. After putting it on lightly with a brush I asked my granddaughter what she thought..she said..Nannie, you look like you just died I said 'wait a minute until I put the mousse on '(Revlon Photoready Airbrush) 030 nude, when I had finished she said' you look nothing like I the Nannie I know', is this better then I said 'No go back to your other make-up.' I was gutted as it was not cheap, and cannot afford to buy more in case I get the shades wrong again. no, wrong stuff, primer is clear! www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-The-Smoother-Skin-Retexturising-Primer_1150582/Looks like it is the same as any serum as you can't use it over serum, just another name for it I suppose. Have you used it,does it smooth over the pores?

I'll let you know Baby wipes do not get right down into the skin to cleanse it, a liquid cleaner, then toner and then moisturiser, my mistake was using creams instead of liquid products on my skin, creams are too heavy. It is just the area around my mouth & chin & nose that I am bothered about as I don't have any deep wrinkles, I had to accept that I am beyond the need for help using anti aging products, it's too late I am already there.

Serum sinks deeply into the skin this smooths over the top of the skin to even the skin out. I only use a tiny little bit and do use it over serum as like my face to feel well moisturised

Yeah What's wrong with that My mother has used all sorts of cleansers and toners and moisturisers over the years and they've done nothing for her skin, so I figured Johnsons baby wipes wouldn't do me any harm

I use baby wipes on my face too mainly because I've always got a huge stash of them in to spot clean the rats cage and the rats when they manage to get food all over themselves lol
