I think I'm the minority woman here - I hate shoes, handbags, make-up, accessories, pink. Dunno why I ever started making jewellery, cos I don't even wear much of that either. I am partial to candles though

Don't go anywhere to use handbags, I shop a lot and prefer shopping bags, make-up gets into my wrinkles and makes me look haggard even though I use serum as a base, shame because I do love make-up. I am just not a girly girly type, well I wouldn't be would I, I love footy, darts, cricket , getting dirty in the garden, D.I.Y, drink beer, can't dance .

ROFL Phoenix, we are a bit similar The Yankee candles are more expensive, but I find the candles and frangrance lasts longer than ordinary ones. They've been the best ones I've ever found to be honest.

Phoenix, have you tried using primer after your serum and before make up? It really smooths skin out

Is anything good for very greasy skin? I've been thinking I should get something that will 'mattify' my face, but I don't want to start wearing make-up to hide it ???

The candles are better quality both in burning time and scent wise than other candles, Clinton Cards usually have scents of the month on special offer, sometimes they even have clearances when they're half price

Phoenix, have you tried using primer after your serum and before make up? It really smooths skin out I did buy some Primer...Revlon Photoready, must have the wrong shade. 001. After putting it on lightly with a brush I asked my granddaughter what she thought..she said..Nannie, you look like you just died I said 'wait a minute until I put the mousse on '(Revlon Photoready Airbrush) 030 nude, when I had finished she said' you look nothing like I the Nannie I know', is this better then I said 'No go back to your other make-up.' I was gutted as it was not cheap, and cannot afford to buy more in case I get the shades wrong again.

Kibb, I have the greasy T area and I have just started using Simple oil Balancing Facial Scrub(I use it with Boots exfoliating sponge very gently and it is very good, my pores are more refined and less greasy
