I have 'outed' myself as being a fan of BB, I just love 'people watching' I do it everywhere I go, in the town I sit on a bench and watch the people and try to imagine what they do, where they work, are they single/married.happy/stressed etc etc, crazy I know but then I am retired and have lots of time to amuse myself in this way.

people watching is ok but BB I remember me and the mrs were down the town center a while back having a coffee and started playing spot the normal person, we had to buy another 5 coffee's befor we found one

I used to be a BB fan, when my boy was a newborn baby and wouldn't sleep at night i used to put BB on and just watch them sleep. #icon_rofl#

I used to watch BB, but have stopped over the last few years. It became too much about becoming famous and less about true interactions between people. Sad really, cos I thought it was a fabulous sociological experiment when it first started.

I agree totally. I watched it from the day it started until the final series on channel 4 (although I never watched any celebrity versions and stopped watching the final series as soon as it turned into a celebrity version). As it went along, from series to series, I got increasingly frustrated by the direction it was going in and the type of programme it was becoming. As kibbutz says, for the contestants, it became too much about trying to establish a post-show career as a minor celebrity. And for the programme-makers, it became too much about finding aggressive self-centred personality-types who are guaranteed to clash and provide the 'lowest common denominator' viewership with the televised shouting matchings and general mean-spiritedness they seem to crave. Such a shame.

Lol, i don't watch it anymore but at the time it served a purpose. I do dip in an out of the celebrity ones sometimes.
